Prevents the OP from being obnoxious and bucking culture, gives the vacation abusers time to figure out the answers on their own (and, hopefully, notifying the OP that the issue is resolved), while still allowing the OP to enjoy most of his vacation. | |

OP actually should take at least three weeks of vacation to prevent burn-out. Also, OP is an employee and not a CEO. | |

| Nov 9, 2020 at 18:06 | comment | added | Davy M | I like this idea of setting aside a time, especially for the Whatsapp messages the OP is receiving where the sender can see that you're active and expect a real time answer, a quick "I will have time to look at this at 11:00 tomorrow morning" reply can help push everything to that time the OP has set aside so that they aren't being pestered all day. | |
