And BTW "I could only write small functions at the end of my bachelors studies" and "I was intrigued by it" somehow don't fit together for me. I understand what you are saying. If I was really intrigued by it, I would have worked on honing my programming skills even during my free time.

I can work with people being slow, making mistakes etc. But I can not not work with people who give all responsibility for something missing to some outside factor. I was talking about your bachelor time.. I did not do much programming as an undergraduate student. I was intrigued by it but I could only write small functions at best by the end of my bachelor's studies.

In my first two years, I was focused solely on survival. My primary goal was to have a program that would produce meaningful data which I could discuss in my thesis. In my third year, I became more comfortable with programming and was bolder in experimenting with different software ideas. | |
