$\begingroup$ A spring-loaded cartridge projectile is a pretty simple design - there's a Lego part for the launcher and several different projectiles (this model using it is pretty much a toy version of what the question asks for). So to that extent it's feasible, and your next-cartridge mechanism could be a revolver. But you'd ned the ability to mass-manufacture coil springs repeatably $\endgroup$
