I'm a researcher in the field of system security, having done my PhD on microarchitectural attacks and program instrumentation. My research includes the development of new attack techniques, but even more the creation of new tools for finding security issues and automatically patching them. The overall goal is processing sensitive information securely on otherwise insecure hardware.
For measurements and instrumenting programs, I use low-level programming languages like C, but also like to do things directly in x86 assembly. For higher-level tasks I prefer C#.
If I don't do research, I like to build web applications with ASP.NET Core.
