We made it past 200 signatures today, next goal 500!

I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who have been sharing this petition. Just 5 days ago we had 50 signatures, 3 days ago we had 75, and as of this writing we have 218! So it is building momentum! I also wanted to thank all of the people who are donating money to help me spread the petition via change.org! Those signatures are really starting to pile up thanks to you!

Other news, I have added the US Senate and the House of Representatives to the Decision Makers list.

Beyond that: In my free time I am posting https://www.change.org/impeach_now on FB groups, Instagram, Bluesky, X, Substack, and on YouTube Comments under political videos. It seem likes whenever I post a lot, I will get a surge of signatures. If you have a few minutes to do this, please do. I'd like to shoot for 25,000 to 50,000 signatures before submitting the petition.

Thanks for all that you do! SCSM

🚨 Petition Update: We Hit 100 Signatures! Next Goal: 200 🚨

Petition Update: We Hit 100 Signatures! Next Goal: 200

Thanks to you, this petition has officially passed our first major milestone of 100 signatures—and we’re already on our way toward our next goal of 200!

This is more than just a number: once we hit 100 signatures, Change.org automatically began reaching out to our chosen Decision Maker, Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, to make sure she sees the growing public support for impeachment.

In addition, I’ve personally reached out to Congresswoman Dexter through her official website, her social media, and snail mail.

Why Congresswoman Dexter? Because she has already publicly voiced her support for Representative Al Green and for impeachment. She’s gone on record saying:

“Donald Trump’s cruel, chaotic, and unlawful actions have put our democracy at risk. I will not stand by while our democracy is eroded. I support impeachment because no one is above the law.”

Now, we’re calling on her to stand with us and back this petition.

If you’ve already signed, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you haven’t yet, or know someone who hasn’t, please share the petition and help us hit our next goal of 200. The more support we show, the louder our voices become.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed funds to promote this petition!

Stay tuned—this movement is just getting started.

Almost to our 4th goal!

Hi everyone! We raced past our 3rd goal of 75 signatures last night, and are just 7 signatures away from our fourth goal of 100 signatures at the time of this writing. Please share the petition with like minded family, friends, and co-workers on your social media platforms by posting this:

I am so grateful to all of you who have signed. I am also really touched by those of you who have reached in your pockets to promote this petition. You have really gone the extra mile.

I have noticed that there are other petitions circulating on this topic. My thought on that is GREAT! The more people who promote this idea, and get their signatures to Congress, the better.  I have also added Oregon Congresswoman Maxine Dexter as the "Decision Maker" for this petition. Change.org will reach out to the Congresswoman once we have 100 signatures. I will be reaching out to her at that point also. I chose Congresswoman Dexter because she has publicly stated that she supports Representative Al Green. I have copied an article below where she is quoted.

Thank-you all again!

Some Democrats in Congress are starting to talk about impeachment. They’re right.  Opinion by Andy Craig  4/13/25

Since Jan. 20, many have spoken of a constitutional crisis, the wanton lawlessness of a president trying to make himself a king in all but name. But by and large, elected Democrats have bent over backward to avoid using a certain word. Their alarm bells ring hollow when the unavoidable implication is left unstated.

But it’s time to stop beating around the bush: Trump must be impeached and removed from office.

A few members of Congress understand this and are willing to say it. It’s a start, and one where public pressure is essential. It’s more effective than you might think at breaking the silence.

A group of self-organized volunteers has been recruiting voters in every House district and started simply asking congressional offices. “Operation Anti-King,” they fittingly call it. In addition to Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, who has already called for impeachment — and has done so many times since Trump’s first term — they quickly found seven more willing to go on the record: Reps. Suzanne Bonamici and Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Sam Liccardo and Maxine Waters of California, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Shri Thanedar of Michigan, and Hank Johnson of Georgia.

In a statement to this group, Dexter made the obvious connection: “Donald Trump’s cruel, chaotic, and unlawful actions have put our democracy at risk. ... I will not stand by while our democracy is eroded. I support impeachment because no one is above the law.” Bonamici likewise affirmed her support because he is “violating the Constitutional rights of people in this country and ignoring the rule of law.”
