Alex Erdekian

Alex Erdekian is a frequent contributor at Condé Nast Traveler, where she previously held roles as the Travel Bookings Editor and Assistant City Guides Editor. She writes about food and wine, hotels, New York City, and more, and has worked with Thrillist, Tripadvisor, Healthline, and Leon & Son Wine in Brooklyn. She also writes fiction and is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Brooklyn College, where she teaches undergraduates and is Editor-in-Chief of the The Brooklyn Review. She never travels without her ancient film camera, and one day, she wants to make wine in the Barossa Valley, where there are some of the oldest vines in the world. She is a graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
