Paul Rubio head shot - Condé Nast Traveler

Paul Rubio

Travel journalist, photographer, and content creator Paul Rubio is a Miami native (and current resident) who has lived in nine countries and traveled to 137 (and counting). After graduating Harvard with a Master of Economics and a Master of Public Administration, Paul strayed from a logical career path and embraced his passion for travel writing full-time. Since 2008 he’s won 35 national awards for his writing and photography. Paul started contributing to Condé Nast Traveler in 2014 and, over 200 articles later, shows no sign of stopping. He is also a special correspondent for AFAR, a regular contributor to LUXURY Magazine, plus the travel editor and food editor at Palm Beach Media Group (PBMG), with titles such as Aventura Magazine, Florida Design, Naples Illustrated, and Palm Beach Illustrated under his belt. When he’s not plotting out his next trip, Paul loves to spend time at home cuddling his rescue dog, Camo, and watching reruns of Planet Earth on BBC America. Follow his travels (and photography) on Instagram @paultheprotraveler.
