Boston Little Syria Project

The Boston Little Syria Project (BLS) is an independent initiative documenting the history of the city's first Arabic-speaking community, which flourished between the 1880s and the 1950s in the South Cove and South End. Founded in 2022, BLS works closely with former residents and their descendants to offer public walking tours, exhibitions, live events, and forums for participatory archiving.
