Eclipse Foundation projects
Bring your project to the
Eclipse Foundation
Bringing your project to the Eclipse Foundation means joining a vendor-neutral, professional open source ecosystem backed by strong governance, IP protection, and a global community.

What makes a great project
At the Eclipse Foundation, we host open source projects that thrive on collaboration, transparency, and neutrality. Our community-led approach ensures that every project, whether a developer framework, technology platform, or cross-industry initiative, receives the support it needs to grow and succeed.
We're especially well-suited for projects that unite contributors across organisations, rely on open innovation, or aim to set new standards in their field. With trusted governance, clear IP management, and a sustainable community model, the Eclipse Foundation is where open source projects grow into ecosystems.

Community review
Your proposal is posted publicly to gather community feedback and support.
