    Schlotzsky’s Dairy-Free Menu Guide (with Gluten-Free Options)

By Alisa Fleming on February 11, 2026 Fast Food Restaurants

Updated February 2026! Schlotzsky’s is a fast food sandwich shop with hundreds of locations worldwide. However, most of their restaurants are located in the Southern U.S. In terms of sandwich shops, they struggle to be transparent. But we do our due diligence to create this dairy-free menu guide, with gluten-free options. It’s all outlined below. You can jump ahead to different sections with these links:

    • Must Read Information
    • Main Menu (dairy-free options)
    • Food Components (dairy-free bread, spreads, etc.)
    • Vegan Menu

    Schlotzsky’s Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Gluten-Free Options

    Schlotzsky’s Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Gluten-Free Options

This menu guide includes dairy-free menu options first, followed by custom order components. Be aware of special order requirements in parentheses () next to the menu items, and see the Heads Up notes to help fill in the blanks.

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: All of the following menu items are also made without gluten, unless otherwise noted. Schlotzsky’s regular breads contain milk, so you must order gluten-free for dairy-free options. Unfortunately, their vegan options are pretty much just pure veggie salads.

    Soup

Heads Up! At this time, all soups at Schlotzsky’s contain milk, even without cheese on top.

Heads Up! We’ve also been told by Schlotzsky’s staff that the croutons contain milk. In addition to the Ranch and Bleu Cheese, the Greek Dressing contains milk.

There is always a risk for potential cross-contamination of allergens in any commercial kitchen. I don’t get why I can’t an ingredient list or anything for them, and there’s zero info if the flatbread ‘crust’ is dairy free (in my case, needs to be vegan)

      • Alisa Fleming on July 11, 2018 1:53 pm

It’s very frustrating, but I’ve had very little luck in getting more info from Schlotzky’s. They’ve told me to ask in store, but I don’t have one near me to update this for y’all.

I was in store over the weekend and they could not tell me if the Udi’s bun was vegan…Nor the flatbread crust. 🙁

          • Alisa Fleming on August 2, 2018 2:23 pm

Udi’s plain buns and crust are dairy free (the one’s sold retail), but almost of all of their products contain egg. So I wouldn’t expect them to be vegan.
