The most popular type of flower in the United States are roses, but when you break down what flowers gardeners opt for on a state by state basis, it becomes clear that roses aren't the only bloom that has captured the country's heart. These favored flowers vary wildly across the U.S., and interestingly, although it's common, states right next to each other won't necessarily have the same top choice.
