Experience
After spending a few years studying automotive design in college, Daniel shifted gears to work in automotive media. Before joining Jalopnik as senior editor in 2023, he started his career with three years as a copy editor and then a news writer at Car and Driver, spent three years as senior social media editor at CNET's Roadshow, and then did a year of freelance writing for various automotive websites and magazine. He loves every kind of vehicle, from affordable EVs to wild supercars, but he gravitates toward the most interesting, innovative, and unique ones. In addition to driving and evaluating hundreds of new cars, Daniel has broken exclusive news stories, interviewed iconic designers, and driven on some of the world's greatest tracks.
Education
Daniel dropped out of multiple art schools, and his career wouldn't be where it is if he hadn't.
