Built to Attract brings out everyone’s talents! Our friends at Covenant Health (MA) were so inspired by Shawn Kessler’s book that they hosted creative presentations to share lessons from each chapter. Our thanks to them for sharing with us!

About us
Aloysius Butler & Clark is one of the largest full-service agencies in the mid-Atlantic and one of Adweek’s 50 “Top Shops” in America. How do we do it? We’re obsessive about results. We combine research, creative and technology to move people. To make a purchase, take an action or change a behavior. It’s a process we call Creative Intelligence. It’s more than left-brain and right-brain thinking. It’s ensuring our work—will work. We think strategically. We work collaboratively. We use technology as a tool, not a crutch. And most importantly, we love what we do and the partners we work with.

When we had the opportunity to sponsor the Klein College of Media and Communication Mock Pitch, an advertising campaign competition for Philadelphia high school students, we jumped on it. Group creative director Kenny Kim and Chief Communications Officer Joanna Ford joined our friends at Temple University to watch the next generation of marketing talent present their thoughtful, creative and innovative ideas—and left feeling inspired. Read Kenny's thoughts on the competition and the impact it makes on our industry: https://bit.ly/4rz9KB6

With thinkers like these, the future of marketing is in great hands. We had a fantastic time seeing all of the incredible work these students put into the Klein College Mock Pitch. Thanks to our friends at Klein College of Media and Communication for having us!
Local high school students from Universal Audenried High School, George Washington High School, South Philadelphia High School and the High School for Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA) pitched their very own integrated advertising and public relations campaigns to client the Philadelphia 76ers during the Klein College Mock Pitch (KCMP) at Walk Auditorium. The KCMP creates opportunities for Philadelphia public high school teens to learn about careers in communication, exposes them to college, fosters a diverse talent pipeline in the advertising and public relations industries and enhances connections between Temple and the Philadelphia community. The high school students heard from a panel—moderated by Philadelphia 76ers in-arena host Lee Farrell, KLN ’20—of Klein College students and alumni who also attended Philadelphia schools. Panelists included: - Laila Manigo, KLN ’25, Social Media Manager, Philadelphia City Council - Deraj P., KLN ’22, Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator, QVC - Cory Matthews, KLN ’25, CEO of The Sole Surgeon - William Keo, public relations student - Ailani M. Valentine’s Day might be over, but we’re still feeling the love—or, more to the point, the LUHV. Check out our new case study, featuring our friends at LUHV FOOD, and how we reimagined their packaging for the “love is in the air” crowd at Philadelphia International Airport: https://bit.ly/4rZddJP 📸: Gab Bonghi

If you think our work sounded good any time in the last decade, Casey Neal, lead copy editor, is the man to thank. Thank you for 10 years of keeping our subjects and verbs in agreement, making sure we’re always in (AP) style and that we’re not using less when we really mean fewer. (Also forgive us if there are errors in this post—we didn’t make Casey proof this one)!
