Today, Armada and Microsoft announced a commitment to deliver sovereign AI at the edge. By combining Microsoft Azure Local with Armada’s Galleon modular data centers, powered by Armada Edge Platform, we are enabling a new class of sovereign private cloud infrastructure, built for the most demanding environments. This solution allows organizations to:  • Run mission-critical AI anywhere, including disconnected and contested environments  • Maintain full control over data, models, and compliance requirements  • Deploy faster with fully integrated, ruggedized infrastructure  • Operate with resilience across complex and degraded networks  Together, we are helping governments, defense, and regulated industries unlock real-time intelligence and operational autonomy at the edge. It's a major step forward for sovereign AI.

Thank you to Fast Company for recognizing Armada as one of the year’s Most Innovative Companies, alongside NVIDIA and Google. Armada has continued to scale impact and headcount since we were first recognized by Fast Company.  We’re bringing sovereign AI to customers in the most challenging environments, saving lives in the freezing cold of Alaska, advancing energy companies toward autonomous operations, and helping the U.S. Navy Fourth Fleet leverage edge computing at sea for the first time. We’re not just imagining the future of AI. We’re enabling customers to put it to work on their toughest problems. https://lnkd.in/e-M4rAzY

Armada and Aker BP ASA are deploying an AI factory offshore, on a working rig on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Data from compute-intensive applications will be processed locally, even when connectivity to shore drops, making the rig real-time ready.  Faster decisions, less downtime, tighter security. Our first deployment will establish a validated blueprint that can be replicated across additional assets, advancing the path toward more remote and autonomous offshore operations. This is what it means to put compute wherever data is generated.

Today the White House sent its AI regulatory framework to Congress, and a few priorities stand out: protecting ratepayers from data center-driven utility hikes, streamlining permitting while strengthening grid reliability, and creating regulatory sandboxes to unlock innovation. The conversation around power behind the meter is turning to action. Our Australian partner WinDC is one great example of the companies leveraging excess or renewable power to feed the appetite for compute and AI. They’re tapping into the more than 7 terawatts of unused renewable energy, using sovereign AI factories from Armada, which need minimal permitting.  The sandbox approach is also very important. The U.S. AI Action Plan previously released will only succeed if the tech stack can be deployed quickly, securely, and globally, without broad regulation that slows one sector to benefit another. One idea not named but clearly emerging is sovereignty. The message is clear and getting louder: every enterprise and every country will have its own sovereign AI factory. At Armada, we believe sovereign AI factories are essential for competitiveness, security, and long-term resilience—and we’re building them with partners across the U.S. and allied nations. https://lnkd.in/gSff6jyb

We built Armada Edge Platform, or AEP, to reach the 70% of the world that's out of reach to traditional hyper scale data centers. Galleons are a core part of how that capability is delivered. One of our 20-foot units, Cruiser, will soon have a permanent home at the Galleon Experience Center in Reston, VA, giving organizations a way to see this technology in action. This modular data center, powered by AEP, brings compute directly to the point of need. From real-time drone processing to on-site model training, it enables advanced AI workloads in environments with limited power, bandwidth, and connectivity. This is how Armada helps close the digital divide and makes AI infrastructure accessible anywhere in the world. To experience it firsthand, follow the link below or in the comments and join us for the opening of the Galleon Experience Center at Carahsoft headquarters on April 7:

Energy is entering its most intelligent era yet. Digitalization and automation are no longer experimental, they are actively reshaping how energy systems are monitored, maintained and optimized in real time. Where does it go next? Join Malini Manocha from Armada and other industry leaders for “Smart, Connected, Automated: Energy System’s Next Frontier” next week at CERAWeek as they explore: • Where automation is already delivering the most value • How far autonomous operations can go • What this shift means for workforce skills and investment priorities A practical and energizing conversation about what’s happening now and what’s arriving quickly on the horizon:

Thank you Michael Lee Sherwood and NVIDIA for being such partners!

AI isn’t just in the cloud, it’s moving to where data is created. The Armada Galleon shows the future lives at the edge, powering real-time decisions in cities and infrastructure. This isn’t theory, it’s deployment. The next wave of AI won’t be centralized… it will be everywhere. Thank you Tamiko Sianen and team Armada for being great NVIDIA partners!

CERAWeek 2026 is a turning point for the energy industry. AI is no longer a side discussion. It is becoming core to how organizations operate, compete, and scale. At Armada, we're removing the barriers to AI adoption by enabling any vendor to deploy applications directly at the edge. This is helping energy leaders tackle three critical questions: • How does the operating model change when edge computing reshapes connectivity, workflows, and data itself?  • What measurable results can be achieved in the first year with sovereign AI solutions?  • How can these solutions integrate into complex, established energy ecosystems? At Armada, we’re turning these questions into practical insights.   Because the future of energy will be led by companies that can act on data with clarity and control. Visit us at the NVIDIA, WWT, and Dell booth next week or connect with our team below beforehand, if you want to schedule a chat. We look forward to the conversation. The next generation of AI services requires infrastructure everywhere. Today Armada is bringing NVIDIA AI Grid capabilities to telecommunications operators and service providers. Armada Edge Platform now supports NVIDIA AI Grid, enabling operators to deploy and operate geographically distributed AI infrastructure for real-time, latency-sensitive AI workloads. With a unified control plane across AI factories, regional hubs, and edge locations, Armada enables intelligent workload placement and lifecycle management across thousands of GPU sites. See AI Grid in action this week at our Galleon just next to NVIDIA GTC at 489 South Market Street, San Jose.

Armada is leveraging NVIDIA DSX Air to accelerate development and production readiness for Bridge, our GPU infrastructure management platform. By simulating full AI factory environments including GPUs, NVLink fabrics, Spectrum-X networking, SuperNICs, and BlueField DPUs, now Armada can validate real-world deployments earlier, faster, and at scale. The result:  • Faster development cycles  • Proof-of-concepts without waiting on hardware  • Safer production changes through digital twin simulation AI factories are becoming the foundation of modern infrastructure. Simulation will be a core part of how they are built and operated. Read more about our work with NVIDIA: https://lnkd.in/giARAG3i
