CONE-munity cleanup day! 🍦 At our annual franchise community meeting this month, Ben & Jerry's franchisees, managers, and staff came together for a massive volunteer cleanup day at the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center in Palm Springs. Together with the City of Palm Springs Office of Sustainability, over 200 volunteers cleaned and beautified this treasured community public space, putting into action our belief that "business has a responsibility to give back to the community."

Last week, we invited people into a "No Escape Room" in central London, exposing the dark realities of temporary accommodation for people seeking asylum in the UK. Co-created by our partner @ConversationOverBorders and people who have lived through the asylum process, our aim was to show the public the harsh, prison-like conditions that people seeking asylum face when they exercise their fundamental human right to seek protection. The UK government is making crucial decisions about accommodation for people seeking asylum RIGHT NOW.
