Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals

Before there is a company there is a conversation — we want to be that first conversation.

About us

Our goal at BoxGroup is to invest at the earliest stage. Early stage fundraising has taken on many names— friends & family round, pre-seed, seed, etc. and we're open to all of them. We're comfortable with what early means— a lot of assumptions, more vision than traction, and raw product. At BoxGroup we believe that technology can be a catalyst for positive change and progress. We look for entrepreneurs working at the beginning of movements in existing markets, or new markets yet to be created, and with visions to create the next generation of category defining businesses.

We just raised a $7.5M pre-seed led by Andreessen Horowitz to build a robotic surgeon at Aleph Much of the early investment in Physical AI has focused on industries where labor is relatively abundant and low-cost. We believe the biggest opportunities to change the world lie at the opposite end of the spectrum. Surgery is among the most valuable forms of labor on the planet, but its far too scarce and expensive - due to an exceptionally long training pipeline and highly concentrated expertise. We’re building the first surgeon that scales: one system that can acquire, refine, and transfer surgical skills across millions of procedures. v1 is already learning to perform surgical tasks autonomously from demonstrations, and improve from its own experience. Lots of great folks behind us! BoxGroup, Reveille VC, Constellation, Forward Deployed Venture Capital, Valkyrie, Discipulus Ventures, maniac ventures + more

I’m thrilled to announce that Corridor has raised $25M in Seed funding led by Bain Capital Ventures (BCV) to help small businesses get the best healthcare for their employees.  We use AI to democratize world-class benefits to every business. We’re proud to have already helped hundreds of schools, clinics, manufacturing firms, startups, and more save millions of dollars and countless headaches.  American health insurance is incredibly complex. Consultants make billions of dollars every year to help navigate this complexity. It has never been economically viable to advise a small business, but AI changes the math. Small businesses employ nearly half the country. They’ve been navigating health insurance almost entirely on their own. Now, through Corridor, small businesses and their employees can access an expert advisor who takes them through the whole process for free.  I might be the Insurance Fairy, but our customers create the magic behind the American Dream. Our hope is that by handling healthcare, they can get back to what they started their business to do. Thank you to the Corridor team for your relentless dedication to serving our clients and each other– Corridor Land exists because you created it. Thank you to our customers for trusting us to take care of your teams. We’re honored to support you. And finally, thank you to our investors for your unwavering belief in us Bain Capital Ventures (BCV), BoxGroup, Definition, Timeless, GoAhead Ventures, Recall Capital, Embedding VC, Jay Desai, and Informed Ventures.

We have raised $200M at a $5B valuation to scale self-improving software development in the enterprise. Factory has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of developers at companies including RBC, Adobe, NVIDIA, T-Mobile, and Palo Alto Networks. We will use this capital to accelerate our investments in research, product, and global go-to-market. 2026 has been a year of hypergrowth across all fronts here at Factory. This financing from Blackstone, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Insight Partners, Evantic Capital, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Mantis Venture Capital, and Clearlake Capital Group brings our total funding to over $400M and more than triples our valuation from April. We are building the most ambitious team in applied research. Our engineers, researchers, and deployed teams work side by side with enterprise customers to stand up their software factories. We hire for clock speed and conviction. The future of software is autonomous and self improving. If you are an unreasonably ambitious polymath and want to build the future of software, join us.

Today, I'm proud to share a strategic investment in Rogo from Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citi Ventures, MUFG Innovation Partners, and Societe Generale, as well as from Sixth Street co-founder Joshua Easterly, and many others. These investors join previous strategic investors, including J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners and Truist Ventures, among others. This has been a year of tremendous growth for Rogo. Last quarter, we grew ARR more than 50% and closed the largest quarter of new business in our history, with over 100 new customers. This reflects a broader shift: AI has moved from experiment to infrastructure. Rogo is increasingly the platform of choice, earned through proven deployments for over 50,000 professionals across 350+ financial institutions, and this investment will accelerate our product roadmap and expansion across EMEA and APAC. Thank you to our investors and clients for their trust and partnership, and to our team, whose work is the reason any of this exists. Link in the comments for more.

We’re announcing that Forus has raised a $150M Series C at a $3B valuation to build the AI network for medicine. Medicine will remain one of the world’s most important industries until humanity achieves immortality, and we are only at the beginning of a new era in what it can do. GLP-1s are changing obesity and cardiometabolic disease. Gene therapies can treat diseases at their genetic source. New cancer treatments are turning diagnoses that were once fatal into diseases people can live with. AI is enabling us to discover new drugs even faster. But discovery is only the beginning. It still takes more than a decade and billions of dollars to turn a new molecule into an approved medicine, and once it reaches market, more than a third of patients prescribed specialty treatments never receive their first dose. Forus is creating the AI network to accelerate the entire medicine pipeline, from development and launch through prescription and treatment. We connect the companies creating medicines with the doctors who prescribe them and the patients who need them. Today, Forus supports millions of people across all 50 states and is already used by providers to treat patients in 85% of U.S. residential ZIP codes. 9 of the top 15 global biopharma companies work with us, alongside many fast-growing biotechs. Our goal is to put Forus in every doctor’s office in the country and unlock an order of magnitude more medicine for society. There is a generational opportunity to rethink how new medicine reaches people. Forus is becoming how medicine moves from discovery to treatment in America, and as we scale, we’ll become the most important company in life sciences. Forus is not constrained by capital or customer demand; we are constrained by the talent and capacity of our team. To take on the opportunity in front of us, we need exceptional engineers and operators in New York who want to move fast and help us make something that matters. Come build with us. Our Series C was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Avra, Human Capital, Neo, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel investing alongside them.

10 years ago, I was the engineer who wouldn't shut up about how important distributed GPU infrastructure would become. 7 years ago, I joined Crusoe as their third engineer. A year ago, I co-founded Aranya. Today we operate over $500M worth of compute and we just closed $11M in funding to go even further. What are we trying to solve? Datacenters are built for one kind of workload but AI needs something else entirely. Every team we talked to loses weeks (sometimes months) just getting compute into a usable state. So we built Aranya as the multicluster OS for highly customized compute at large scale. Bare metal to production in under 48 hours, not months. One of the top three inference providers in the world is already running production workloads on Aranya. None of this happens without the people who bet on us early: Todd Jackson and Maggie Basta at First Round Capital, Lola Wajskop and Nicholas Chirls and Mackenzie Regent at Asylum Ventures, Patrick M. and Charles DePue at Uncommon Projects, David Frankel and Jack Arenas at Founder Collective, Ashley Smith at Vermilion Cliffs Ventures, Adam Rothenberg at BoxGroup, Anne Lee Skates at Parable, and our earliest angels. Thank you. It also doesn't happen without my co-founders: Aryamika Bhatia Ondaatje built the operational backbone of this company from the ground up, Sasivarnan Kanaghasalam Sathyapriya shaped the product and the GPU relationships that make our scale possible. And beyond our founding team, to every early hire who joined when this was just a bet, we appreciate you: Yoofi Quansah, Lily Adlin, Weigang Geng, Ayobami Bamigboye, Virginia C., and Tina G. One year down, so many to go. We’re just getting started.

We just raised $4.5M for Kita, the AI credit assessment platform helping lenders underwrite any borrower in seconds. Around the world, millions of thin-file borrowers are overlooked because their financial lives are too costly and complex to assess. Their credit histories are buried in messy documents that legacy systems can’t read, leaving lenders to spend hours reviewing files and chasing missing information. Today: • Kita has processed over $130M in loan volume globally • We’re live with some of the world’s largest microlenders, SME lenders, and commercial lenders across the US, Asia, and Latin America • Underwriting workflows that used to take months are now done in <60 seconds • Built out of Stanford by a team from Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft My co-founder, Rhea Malhotra and I became best friends after randomly sharing a one-bedroom apartment in Boston, and started building Kita while doing our master's in Computer Science at Stanford University. What started as a dorm room project has now evolved into a global platform helping lenders get capital into the hands of those who need it most. Our mission is to make fair, fast, high-quality credit assessment possible for anyone, anywhere. Grateful to BoxGroup for leading the round, and to Y Combinator, Golden Gate Ventures, U.S. News & World Report, BEENEXT, Kaya Founders, and Apex Star Capital, the family office of Xiaomi co-founder, Bin Lin. Thank you as well to angels including Kaz Nejatian, Shivani Siroya, Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng, Linda Du, Kulveer Taggar, and more, for believing in us. Only up from here 🎍
