WE DELIVER GREAT SOFTWARE FAST ®
About us
BTI360 is a software development company based in the Washington DC area that provides big data software solutions to clients in the federal government. Over the past decade, we have optimized our craft around niche areas in Distributed Search, Machine Learning, and Cloud Engineering. Our solutions help mission users spend less time combing through content and more time developing insights. BTI360 offers a tight knit, open culture focused on developing our team. From the beginning our founders believed that if you invest in great people, great things will happen. We regularly invest in developing our team's technical and leadership skills through a blend of code katas, targeted trainings, and conferences. Our philosophy is simple: attract the best engineers, invest in their growth, and empower them to lead ideas that make a lasting impact.

We’re in Boston this week for Open Data Science Conference (ODSC). One thing that’s come through clearly: the field is maturing in how it’s absorbing the dramatic AI innovations of the last few years. Software engineers have shifted from vibe coding and ad-hoc AI experiments toward disciplined engineering practices that make using these tools sustainable in complex systems.

We had the best time sharing our office with 100+ new faces for Bring Your Kid to Work Day. Great food, crafts, games, movies, a photo booth, face painting, LEGO Robotics, and AI and programming merit badges helped create a fun and unforgettable day. Thank you to our teammates and their incredible kids for making it a special day!

Curious what it’s really like to work in the tech industry after graduation? BTI360 is hosting a College Connect Open House designed to give college students a behind-the-scenes look at: • What it’s like to work in our industry • The technologies we use — and how we use them to support national security • Resume Pro Tips • What we recommend students focus on learning now to prepare for life after college This event is focused on networking and learning—NOT a job fair—open to college sophomores and juniors focused on software engineering, data, cyber, or related technical fields. Food will be provided. Space is limited. Register here: https://lnkd.in/e6hGidN3

“How can software teams deliver the highest mission value in the shortest amount of time, predictably?” That is the key question our recent Lean Agile training explored. The two-day training focused on how teams actually deliver work: prioritizing the right problems, improving flow, building quality in, and making progress visible. The class combined instruction with hands-on exercises—including paper airplanes, Jenga, and Lego builds—that made the ideas practical and memorable.

As companies grow, it’s easy for work to feel impersonal. Leadership is inaccessible, feedback goes nowhere, and the work feels transactional. Our teammates describe something different at BTI360: real one‑on‑one relationships, direct conversations, and a sense that everyone is on the same team pulling in the same direction. If you feel stuck in a role where red tape and bureaucracy are keeping you from doing your best work, check out our current job openings: https://lnkd.in/e7vZaWin
