The Country Club at Mirasol

As we eagerly await the completion of our indoor pickleball complex and spectacular new dining and golf destinations, we’re taking you inside the first completed building in this stage of our Mirasol Master Plan: our Main Security Gatehouse! Our members have been driving through this beautiful new structure for quite some time, but now Director of Security Scott Sheppard is giving us our first look inside. Along with a striking new entrance to Mirasol, the building features important upgrades that support our advanced security technology and provide additional space for our growing Security team. Last week, we shared a look at the very first event in our Teen Community Service Program, where our teens came together to meet one another, share their stories and learn more about the work of our member-run Mirasol Foundation. This week, we’re excited to share one of the Foundation’s latest efforts: the Green Bag Food Project! Our teens teamed up with our street ambassadors to collect green bags filled with donated groceries, which were delivered to the Food Project in Juno Beach. From there, the donations made their way to seven food pantries across Palm Beach County. Many hands made a meaningful impact, and we’re grateful to everyone who pitched in to help make this project such a success. Members, watch your email for future Foundation volunteer opportunities!

Whether you are joining us at the Club tonight for our annual Yom Kippur "Break the Fast" Dinner or concluding your holiday with a feast of your own at home, we hope you had a meaningful experience filled with thoughtful self-reflection.

Our member-run Mirasol Foundation kicked off its Teen Community Service Program with an event at our Golf Learning Center, and it was a blast! The afternoon featured a presentation from Foundation representatives, Mirasol members Ryder and Tyler sharing the incredible story behind WeCare4Cancer.com, which they created, and other inspiring testimonials about the impact of community service. Then it was time for a little friendly competition! Our teen volunteers took part in a simulated hole-in-one contest, with four winners taking home certificates and golf balls for landing closest to the pin. Many more volunteer opportunities will be available for adults and teens alike this season, and we are fortunate to have such caring and dedicated members to assist our local community in these valuable ways!

Restaurant Manager Zach Recckio's final Wine Down Wednesday of the summer featured "The Great Chardonnay Debate"! Our resident wine connoisseurs compared chardonnays from renowned wine regions around the globe while discovering how climate, terroir, and winemaking techniques shape each glass. Delicious light bites complemented every sip! We look forward to hosting our first big wine event of the season — Fall Food & Wine Night — on November 12! Building on the success of our summer wine programming, this expanded event will bring together our team and beverage partners to create a special evening for our members. #mirasolpride

Our final cooking demonstration of the summer brought the heat! Director of Culinary Operations Michael Crain kicked things off with a look at the different grills we use at Mirasol before Executive Banquet Chef Egypt Davis took over for the cooking portion. Chef Egypt, who finished third on Season 23 of Hell’s Kitchen, shared some of his favorite grilling techniques, including a dry rub, white barbecue sauce, and black cherry whiskey barbecue sauce. Members sampled plenty along the way — including Chef Egypt’s famous cornbread — and headed home with recipe cards and a little inspiration for their own grills. It was a great way to close out our summer cooking demonstrations, and we thank these two talented chefs for delighting our members! #mirasolpride

The past few weeks have been busy as we prepare for the fall season, and we’re excited to announce that the major resurfacing project on all fifteen tennis courts is now complete! This restoration included laser grading, more than 100 tons of new clay, and fresh court lines, giving all of our courts a smooth, even playing surface. The courts are ready, and we look forward to seeing our members enjoying them! #mirasolpride

As we prepare to serve our annual Rosh Hashanah dinner this evening, we wish all who celebrate a happy, healthy and sweet new year! Whether you will be joining us at the Club or celebrating elsewhere with family and friends, we hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday surrounded by those you love.

We’re pleased to share another video update on the restoration of the 18th holes on our Sunrise and Sunset golf courses! Director of Golf Course Maintenance Ben Hyduk takes us through the latest progress, including sprigging the greens and putting surfaces, lining bunkers, installing drainage, and more. Be sure to watch until the end for a look at the installation of our dramatic new water feature! Once complete, it will serve as a stunning focal point visible from both courses, the Grand Clubhouse, and Overlook Bar & Grill, our new casual dining destination opening this fall. #mirasolpride
