April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! This Friday, April 10, we invite colleagues, partners and community leaders across Michigan to join us for Wear Blue Day. Wearing blue is a simple but powerful way to show your commitment to strong families, safe communities and the importance of prevention. Take a photo, post it on social media and tag us so we can help spread the message of hope across Michigan. Together, we can elevate hope, highlight the power of prevention, and continue working toward a safer future for all Michigan children and families. #PinwheelsofPossibility #CAPMonth2026 #MIWearsBlue

As part of Prevent Child Abuse America's rechartering process, Children Trust Michigan recently hosted Anita Odom (PCA America) and Nicole Sillaman, MBA (Ohio Children's Trust Fund) for a site visit. This four-year review ensures alignment with national standards and reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement in supporting families across Michigan. We were proud to share our strategies and engage partners who make prevention possible every day, including CAN Council, Edge Partnerships, Michigan's Children, and CTM Board Members Jason Griffin and Amy Tattrie Loepp. These conversations strengthen partnerships, share best practices, and advance our shared vision: a Michigan where every child grows up safe, supported, and thriving.
