Too many digital finance tools leave users in the dark about their own data. We're changing that. Consumer Reports is hosting the Fairness by Design Tech Sprint this April 29-30 in Atlanta. We're looking for fintech builders—product designers, engineers, product managers, and experts—to build practical tools that put consumers first. What’s different? Consumers will actively participate, using their lived experiences to define the challenges and influence what gets built. If you value building alongside the people your products serve, join us! RSVP today: cr.org/fairnessbydesign #Fintech #FairnessByDesign

We never stop questioning. That’s the heart of the new Consumer Reports brand campaign—our first major marketing push since 2021. For 90 years, Consumer Reports has been testing, reviewing, and advocating for you, and we are still committed to that today. In this time of endless noise and uncertainty, it's more important than ever before that we provide answers you don't have to question. Catch the details in ADWEEK: https://lnkd.in/gQyFfKNr

With consumers shopping online more than ever before, Consumer Reports sought to better understand how the largest and fastest-growing platforms help protect consumers from unsafe products. What we found raises serious concerns for parents shopping online–but the good news is, some of the platforms have already committed to making improvements based on our findings. Here are two key wins from our evaluation: -Temu added a recalls center to its app, including personalized recall notices. -Amazon added strangulation warnings to pacifier listings.
