In a lot of cold storage operations, reserve inventory gets counted once a quarter. Which is fine until a pallet with a shelf life gets put away in the wrong slot and sits there for weeks or months while newer product ships ahead of it (so much for FIFO). Our CRO Michael McSpedon walked RoboticsTomorrow.com through what happens when drones take that count from quarterly to every few weeks: https://lnkd.in/gEYtMtgY

We design and manufacture the full stack in America, from the sensor and compute architecture to the AI models running on each device. Every Corvus One® and Corvus Trident™ unit is designed, manufactured and tested at company headquarters in Mountain View, California. Here's why: https://lnkd.in/eYqGND9q

Foodservice distribution moves inventory all day. The record catches up later, if it catches up at all. So your inventory associates spend their shifts counting instead of doing more valuable work. We're at the The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Solutions Conference September 13 to 15 in San Antonio, booth 337. Corvus One flies your reserve racking and bulk floor storage while Corvus Trident mounts to your material handling equipment and logs pallet moves as they happen. Come by and tell us what your variance list looks like.

FSMA 204 fails to account for two critical scenarios inside the four walls of a distribution center: static inventory and inventory actively being moved within the warehouse. This is where autonomous data capture technology can fill in that gap. Michael McSpedon walks through a few different options for Food Logistics https://lnkd.in/gZSDqBkP

Warehouse automation should fit the way you operate. 🎯 From inventory at rest to inventory in motion—including sub-zero cold storage—Corvus Robotics helps teams see what’s there, what’s moving, and what needs attention. Our strongest growth month yet. More opportunities to solve real warehouse problems. Where are inventory blind spots costing your team time and money? Let’s talk. #CorvusRobotics #InventoryManagement #ColdChain
Warehouse robots are getting a lot more capable and collaborative. Our latest feature covers where robotics and Physical AI are headed across the warehouse floor: 🤖 Amazon's next-gen #AmazonProteus now takes natural language commands and is headed to European fulfillment centers in 2027. 🤝 ShipLab is rolling out Robust.AI's Carter cobots in phases, only paying once performance targets are met at each stage. 🔗 Ambi Robotics and Pickle Robot Company integrated their systems for a continuous dock-to-warehouse workflow, a glimpse at what interoperable automation looks like. 🥶 Corvus Robotics launched drones built for cycle counts in sub-zero cold storage. Kroger's already using them in live freezer ops. 🦾 Accenture, Vodafone Procure & Connect, and SAP piloted humanoid robots doing autonomous facility inspections in Germany. Plus new safety sensors, higher-payload robotic arms, and more. Link in comments 👇

Mohammed Kabir, who built our first drone in his MIT dorm room, is now CEO of Corvus Robotics. He's run technology and product since the company's founding. He takes over from Co-Founder Jackie Wu, who's stepping back for health reasons but remaining on our Board of Directors. We're also announcing $20 million in new funding led by Catalyst Investors. S2G Investments, Spero Ventures, and f7 Ventures all came back in, and Cibus Capital joins as a new investor. Today more than 300 devices are deployed across 26 US states, Canada, and Mexico, analyzing over a million inventory locations a month for customers including Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, GNC, and Dermalogica.

Counting 2.3 million pairs of shoes by hand is a miserable way to spend a quarter. So this week we filmed the alternative.
