Helping states advance next-generation aviation concepts into meaningful public impact is work we are committed to supporting. ✈️ The Crown team, led by Alice Griffith, contributed technical writing and management expertise to NCDOT’s proposal to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Electric Aviation Integration Pilot Program (#eIPP), supporting the development of a statewide Advanced Air Mobility vision focused on healthcare mobility and disaster logistics. If selected, this initiative would help establish a connected aviation network linking hospitals, airports, and rural communities — reducing time-to-care, strengthening emergency response, and expanding access to critical healthcare services across North Carolina. 🏥 Crown has partnered with several SLTT government clients (State Local Tribal and Territorial), contributing to state-led approaches that advance secure, resilient, and future-ready aviation systems. 🔐 We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that strengthen communities and advance the future of mobility. #TeamCrown #AdvancedAirMobility #AAM #eVTOL #HealthcareAccess #AviationModernization
Last week at the NC #AUVSI AAM Symposium, NCDOT Division of Aviation shared a first look at our proposal for the FAA’s Electric Aviation Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). If selected, this effort would position North Carolina to help shape how electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, such as air taxis, and advanced air mobility are safely integrated into the national airspace — with a focus on real-world operations, public benefit and strong public-private partnerships in expanding access to rural healthcare. From infrastructure readiness to healthcare and workforce applications, we’re excited about the opportunity to take this next step and build on North Carolina’s legacy as First in Flight and first in innovation. #AdvancedAirMobility #NCAviation #AdvancedMobilityNC #NextGenAviationNC
