  • The story of Freestone County is best told by the people shaping it every day. In this video, Andrea McVey of Dessert by MommaCakes, Scooter Long of The Butcher’s Choice and Marla Lookabill of the Freestone County Fair & Rodeo Association share what their work means to the community—and how new investment is becoming part of the county’s story. Together, their stories show how local impact reaches across a community: businesses supporting their employees, local relationships creating new opportunities and a community coming together to recognize the hard work of its young people. Meaningful community partnership starts with listening and understanding what already makes a place strong. We’re grateful to Andrea, Scooter and Marla for sharing their perspectives and welcoming us into their community. #CyrusOne #FreestoneCounty #CommunityPartnership

  • Our customers trust us with the infrastructure that keeps their businesses running, and that trust is built through the work our teams do together every day. For the second year running, we welcomed customers from across our London data centers to LON4 in the UK for an afternoon away from the day-to-day, filled with good conversation and plenty of pizza. 🍕 It was a chance to simply say thank you, catch up outside the data halls, spend time together, and recognize the relationships behind the work that keeps critical services online around the clock. A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Jacob Dowsett, Regional Operations Director, and our London facilities teams for bringing everyone together. #CustomerPartnership #DataCenters #London

For students, confidence can grow quickly when they have the chance to put workplace skills into practice alongside industry professionals. 🤝 At UTC Heathrow in Northwood, England, Year 10 and Year 12 students took part in a Project Regeneration Day focused on applying classroom learning to a real-world workplace challenge. As part of CyrusOne’s commitment to the Digital Futures Programme, Andreas Rathmann, Director of Utilities, joined industry volunteers to support students as they reimagined a decommissioned power station as a self-contained smart city. The challenge put teamwork, leadership and presentation skills into practice, while asking students to think through sustainable power, digital infrastructure and how data centers integrate within wider communities. “Partnerships with employers such as CyrusOne are vital in helping to bridge the gap between education and industry. By sharing their expertise, experience and insight, they enable students to better understand the opportunities available to them and equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the rapidly growing infrastructure sector,” said Wayne Edwards, Headteacher at UTC Heathrow. Thank you to UTC Heathrow, the teachers and volunteers who made the experience possible. #CommunityImpact #DigitalFutures #FutureTalent

  • 🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Natalia Delaune 🌟 For Natalia Delaune, VP Legal, Labor & Compliance at CyrusOne, the goal is often simple: bring clarity to complicated situations. Whether she’s working through labor and employment matters, cross-functional risk, crisis response or policy design, Natalia’s role goes well beyond answering legal questions. It’s about helping teams understand the issue, align on a path forward and make thoughtful decisions. “I’m always trying to cut through the noise, get everyone aligned, and leave things clearer and calmer. That’s a win in my book.” That collaborative mindset extends to the people around her. Natalia credits her legal team colleagues for bringing different perspectives to the table, while sharing the same high standards and genuine kindness toward one another. Outside of work, life stays just as active. Natalia stays busy supporting her two kids and their many interests - from volleyball, baseball and horseback riding to drums and piano. More recently, the whole family has added pickleball to the mix. #EmployeeSpotlight #LifeAtCyrusOne #CyrusOne #TeamCyrusOne

  • Before a data center ever connects to the grid, there’s a lot of work to answer one critical question: Can the power system support it reliably? In this video, Gene Alessandrini, EVP and Chief Development Officer at CyrusOne, explains how power availability and grid reliability factor into site selection, from evaluating generation and transmission capacity to working with utilities on the infrastructure needed to serve a site. He also explains how utilities plan for reserve capacity so the grid can continue reliably serving homes, businesses and other customers as new demand comes online. There are a lot of factors behind that process, but the priority is straightforward: reliability has to remain at the center of the conversation. Watch the video to learn more about how that planning works. #DataCenters #CyrusOne #EnergyInfrastructure #GridReliability

  • The path to power is no longer a one-size-fits-all conversation.⚡ At Yotta 2026 in Las Vegas, Gene Alessandrini, EVP and Chief Development Officer at CyrusOne, is joining two conversations focused on the decisions behind delivering data center capacity at scale. September 29 | 4:00–4:45 p.m. | Islanded, Grid-Connected or Inject-and-Withdraw? Choosing the Right Path to Power Gene will join industry peers to explore the different approaches to powering data centers and the considerations around reliability, scalability and risk. September 30 | 12:30–2:00 p.m. | Delivering Capacity at Scale Hosted by CyrusOne, this Future of Compute session will look beyond power availability at the engineering, equipment, permitting, labor and commissioning involved in delivering capacity at scale. Heading to Yotta 2026? Join Gene for both conversations at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada. #Yotta2026 #CyrusOne #DataCenters #DigitalInfrastructure

  • Data centers are part of a growing conversation in communities across the country. In Fort Worth, Texas, local leaders and industry came together to have that conversation directly. On September 15, the first Good Neighbor Series brought together local officials, state policymakers and industry leaders for a candid discussion about data center development, community engagement and how policy can support responsible growth. CyrusOne sponsored the event, with CEO John Hatem joining Fort Worth City Councilman Michael D. Crain and Armin Mizani, former Mayor of Keller, for a discussion spanning community engagement, water and energy use, setbacks and the role of clear policy. “The success we've had is really just being transparent. Showing up for discussions like this, talking to local officials, talking about what we do, and pointing to our history,” John shared. Thank you to Marshall Coover, Alan Goss and Megan Mauro for creating a forum for this dialogue, and to Steve Montgomery and the Fort Worth Chamber for helping bring everyone together. #CyrusOne #DataCenters #CommunityEngagement #FortWorth

  • What if the water cooling a data center didn’t go down the drain? In a closed loop cooling system, it doesn’t. Instead, the water is recirculated, absorbing heat from the data center, carrying it outside where the heat is released, then returning to repeat the process. Think of it less like running a faucet and more like a continuous circuit: move the heat, keep the water. That distinction matters when talking about how data centers use water and how cooling system design can reduce the need for a continuous supply of new water. So, what actually happens inside the loop? Follow the journey. #DataCenter #ClosedLoopCooling #DigitalInfrastructure

  • A new school year is a big moment for any community. In Bosque County, Texas, it was an opportunity to make sure students and teachers had a few more resources behind them. 📚 Ahead of the school year, 30 laptops and baskets of school supplies were donated to Kopperl ISD in Bosque County, along with appreciation bags for every teacher in recognition of the work they do for their students each day. It’s the teachers, staff, families and students who make a school community what it is, and we were glad to play a small part in helping them start the school year strong. Thank you to everyone at Kopperl ISD for the warm welcome! #CyrusOne #BosqueCounty #CommunityImpact
