They’re back. And they brought a few control challenges with them🤖 Meet Grant, Echo, and Zero. Three machines. Three very different behaviors. See how security leaders respond in CISOs@Work this October. #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth

Stop unauthorized access.
About us
Delinea helps organizations reduce identity-based risk while enabling secure, seamless access across the modern enterprise. As the identity security control plane, Delinea protects every human, machine, and AI identity with real-time, context-aware access. It replaces static privilege with just-in-time, policy-driven controls that maintain security without slowing down the business. Delinea continuously discovers identities, privileges, and access pathways, giving teams full visibility into who has access and why. With unified enforcement, automation, and auditing, organizations can apply least privilege consistently and move toward Zero Standing Privilege at their own pace, without requiring a rip-and-replace approach.

I joined The AI Conference in San Francisco today to talk about a challenge I've spent a lot of time thinking about this year: how do we move faster with AI without creating risks we can't control? What struck me today is how quickly that conversation is changing. AI agents are already in production. The real debate now is how much freedom we give them, and how we stay in control as that freedom grows. We've spent decades building security around predictable human behavior. Agents changed that equation almost overnight. They make decisions, choose their own path, and act at a speed and scale no person can match. Instead of slowing them down, we need to be much more precise about the authority we give them. Know what they can access, what they can do with it, and whether that still holds in the moment. Every access decision should carry enough context to defend later. That's how we move fast without breaking things. Thanks to The AI Conference for having me and to everyone who joined the conversation today.

Just dropped: The AI Enforcement Gap. AI policies are everywhere. Real-time enforcement? Not quite. Our new 2026 Identity Security Report looks at what happens after access is granted, and where the gaps start to show. See the findings → https://bit.ly/4z4giMd

Authentication gets an agent in. But that’s only the beginning. In this conversation with TECHx Media, Mortada Ayad, VP of Sales META at Delinea, breaks down why organizations need to control what AI agents can actually do after they’re authenticated, from the systems they can access to the actions they’re allowed to take. Catch the full conversation on AI identity, permissions, and controlling what happens after access: https://bit.ly/4hBS1Gq

AI agents are already running on your endpoints. The real question is: what are they allowed to do? As agents move from answering prompts to taking action, standing privileges can quickly become standing risk.
