Reidenberg, Ph.D., and The University of Texas Permian Basin Pots and Prints, for an outstanding STEAM Camp! Nearly 80 girls from 24 campuses across Midland participated and gained exposure to national-level expertise and cutting-edge science, discovery, and innovation.    Check out this video to learn more about STEAM Camp and its impact this summer!

  • The Diamondback Energy Athletic Complex reached a significant construction milestone this week!    Midland Athletic Syndicate hosted a 'Top-Out' Ceremony to mark the project's progress. Donors, board members, and community supporters signed the final steel beam before it was hoisted into place.   We're proud to support this initiative and help provide a state-of-art athletic facility for youth in the Permian Basin community.

  • The unimaginable has left our hearts broken for families and children impacted by flooding across the Texas Hill Country. We pray for comfort, healing, and strength for our communities.   In the face of this tragedy, the indomitable spirit of Texas has shined brightly as unsung heroes have acted in love and courage for one another. Thousands of first responders and volunteers have assisted in search and recovery efforts. Many organizations, businesses, and fellow Texans from across the state are donating essential items and food. Our Diamondback family stands with you.   We’re supporting relief efforts through the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. In addition, we're matching all employee donations $1 for $1. If you would like to support alongside us, donations can be made here: https://lnkd.in/gmDRA5PX.

  • Week three of Diamondback STEAM Camp was all about art! Campers received hands-on experience with The University of Texas Permian Basin's Pots and Prints.    Students explored ceramics, learning to mold clay by hand, try the pottery wheel, and experience the process of screen printing up close. This was our first year integrating arts into the camp, and it was great to see creativity come to life.   A huge thank you to our volunteers who made this camp a success!

  • Week two of Diamondback STEAM Camp was filled with marine biology lessons with Joy S. Reidenberg, Ph.D.!   Campers explored comparative anatomy, including assembling an animal skeleton and sketching dolphin skulls to explore art and science. Students also used virtual reality, powered by syGlass, Inc, to examine a life-sized sperm whale model, learning about anatomy and marine ecosystems.   Stay tuned for week three's recap of students' hands-on art experience with The University of Texas Permian Basin's Pots and Prints!

  • We’re halfway through the internship program, and our interns are having an energy-packed summer with multiple site visits to the field! Recently, our intern class experienced first-hand the core of our field operations by visiting a drilling rig, e-frac site, and tank battery.   Regardless of their discipline in the field or corporate office, our interns are getting real-world exposure to how we safely and responsibly extract oil and natural gas, providing vital energy across the world. Diamondback is proud to support the next generation of energy professionals with opportunities to learn, explore, and grow!
