Regulate don’t eliminate. The Delta team, including Founder & CEO Jack Sherrie, headed to Raleigh this week to push back against NC House Bill 328. If passed, this bill would effectively ban all hemp-derived products statewide. This isn’t a Delta problem. It’s a THC industry problem. As we continue to fight against these bills, it fills our cup to see the rest of the community rise up against bills meant to eliminate our industry. 🚨 North Carolina is about to erase 95% of hemp - and the House votes this week. HB 328 would cap THC at 0.4mg per container, wiping out an estimated 95% of hemp products, including non-intoxicating CBD. The Senate already passed it 37-6. Now it's down to the House. As a Charlotte-based category leader, we're asking to be regulated - age gates, testing, honest labeling. Banning hemp beverages hands the market to sellers who never check IDs, while putting ~9,000 NC jobs and up to $1.1B in annual sales on the line.
