Tuesday night in New York, one long table, and unforgettable conversations. We hosted a dinner with Climactic during Climate Week. Good food, a full table, and somewhere between the black cod and the panna cotta everyone's shoulders came down. Climate Week is a lot. Back-to-back sessions, a calendar full of people to meet, the same conversation in six different rooms. That’s what the dinner was for. No over-curated pitches, no lengthy slides, no agenda. Just climate investors sitting next to people who do the same hard job they do, with enough time to actually finish their thoughts and enjoy the evening. The conversations went where they wanted to go: what is working in a portfolio right now, what’s not, what people are quietly worried about, what they are excited about again. Nobody was performing, and it’s the whole reason we do dinners like this.
