Founded in Austin in 1996, Four Hands has international offices in China, India, Vietnam, Mexico, Indonesia, and showrooms in High Point, North Carolina, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Austin, Texas. Our team enthusiastically supports the growing needs of large retail chains, as well as independent regional stores and interior designers. Our pieces are unique to us — the product of careful trendspotting, selected materials and innovative design techniques for an ever-expanding assortment. Our trade customers have 24/7 online access to 6,000 design-forward products, from living and dining room to art, outdoor, accessories, and more. Receiving numerous recognitions and accolades, including ranking in the Inc. 5000 list 14 times, Four Hands is one of the most dynamic companies in the furniture industry today. 30 years of Four Hands called for a celebration! Last week, we brought together 1,100 Four Hands employees and their guests at Q2 Stadium to mark three decades of shaping spaces. We celebrated where we’ve been and the people who got us here with thoughtful details and memorable experiences—live music, watercolor portraits, leather branding, permanent jewelry, a speakeasy and casino, photo moments, mini chocolate chairs and more. Since 1996, Four Hands has grown from a small Austin antiques importer into an international design brand. A lot has changed in 30 years, but the people behind it remain at the heart of what we do. This week, we added 10 new interns to Four Hands, plus 4 familiar ones who decided they weren’t quite done with us yet and extended their internships. That’s 14 interns jumping in, learning the ropes, building connections, and making their mark at Four Hands. One of the best parts of our internship program is watching what happens between Day 1 and the final presentation day — the relationships built, the confidence gained, the projects they get to put their name on, and all the little moments in between.
