Earlier this month, we hosted our 24th Annual Ghirardelli Golf Classic benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro! This year's event was an energizing day of connection, friendly competition, and most importantly, support for local youth. We're grateful for the generous sponsors, golfers, and dedicated volunteers who joined us on the course and made this year's sellout tournament such an incredible success! Your participation and support help make a meaningful impact for youth and families in the community. Thank you!   We're also incredibly grateful to the amazing Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro team members who worked in partnership to plan and host this wonderful event. Last week, our Ghirardelli team joined the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation for their 26th Playground Build at Crocker Highlands Elementary School! Over two days of volunteering, our employees worked alongside Eat. Learn. Play. and the Crocker Highlands community to help bring students' dream schoolyard to life. We are grateful to the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation and KABOOM! for their continued commitment to creating safe and high-quality schoolyards for children to play, learn, and spend time with their classmates. Grateful is the word that comes to mind this holiday season. 🎄🍫 Ghirardelli was honored to participate in Christmas with the Currys by packing up gift bags of chocolate with handwritten messages of gratitude for the incredible teachers and staff across Oakland Unified School District elementary schools. These were shared with teachers and staff as they came through each Christmas with the Currys book fair at Elementary Schools across Oakland for the last three weeks of school leading up to the holidays. It was a meaningful way to share a little sweetness while recognizing the dedication and impact educators have on their students and communities every single day. A heartfelt thank you to the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation for again welcoming us into this special tradition and for the work you do to uplift and celebrate Oakland kids, families, and communities.
