A lot of schools start with GiveCampus for one thing—usually Giving Days. But the real unlock? Expanding how (and who) uses it. That’s exactly what Perkiomen School did. Instead of keeping GiveCampus in a single lane, they: → Started using it to power alumni events—not just fundraising moments → Turned engagement opportunities into natural giving touchpoints → Brought other teams into the mix, extending the platform’s value across campus → Shared both the impact and the cost, making it easier to scale sustainably The result is a more connected approach to engagement—where events, giving, and communication reinforce each other instead of competing for attention. If you’re thinking about how to get more out of the tools you already have (and get more teams bought in), this is a great example. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gya5jtST Shoutout to Abigail Rose-Craver for leading the charge here 👏 #GiveCampus #HigherEdFundraising #AlumniEngagement #CampusEvents #EngagementStrategy #InstitutionalAdvancement

Gift officers at the University of Illinois Foundation are now sending personalized outreach to 350+ constituents per week—with open rates above 60%. At the College of Charleston, frontline fundraisers are reaching 85% more constituents, sending personalized messages to 50+ prospects per hour. That's not a staffing increase. That's AI. In 2026, the leading advancement teams aren't just using AI to draft faster. They're hiring it—assigning it roles, giving it portfolios, and building workflows around what it can do overnight—while the rest of the team is sleeping. We broke down all three types of AI that advancement teams are putting to work right now, with real examples from schools already doing it. 📖 Read the blog : https://lnkd.in/gmAe2cjH

University of San Diego was in the middle of a full CRM migration to Salesforce when they decided to overhaul their entire online giving stack. At the time, digital wallets weren’t part of the mix. Recurring gifts often meant manual, staff-managed processes. And like many programs, donor friction was just part of the equation. Most shops would wait to modernize. USD didn't. The results: 60%+ of transactions on their first Giving Day with GiveCampus came through digital wallets. Recurring gift management shifted from staff-handled phone calls to donor self-service. Form abandonment dropped. And what started as a risky parallel transition became a case study in what happens when you put donor experience first—even when the timing may feel inconvenient. Philip Garland, USD’s VP of Advancement and Campaign Operations, breaks down the recipe to successfully modernizing mid-migration in one of our latest master classes. Our Genius in the Room series spotlights advancement pros sharing how they’re solving real challenges—fast. This month: Nathan Watts (Houston Academy) and Melanie Simmons (Varsity Consulting Group) unpack what actually makes school–consultant partnerships work—from setting expectations to knowing when outside help makes sense. Nathan will also share lessons from Houston Academy’s Raider Challenge: Heroes Unite, which hit 138% of its donor goal and raised nearly $200K to expand opportunities for students across academics, arts, athletics, and character-building programs. 👇 Register here: https://lnkd.in/ehECrgUa

What happens next depends on what happens now. GiveCampus analyzed millions of gifts to understand how today’s ask amount influences tomorrow’s donor behavior. The results challenge the idea that ask strategy only affects a single transaction. Swipe through to see what short-term behavior actually predicts—and why modernizing sooner matters more than most teams realize.
