  • Every move adds to the story 🌎 From a morning run to a bike ride or a walk with colleagues, the Moving Challenge has brought people together in different ways across GlobalLogic. Take a look at what participants have to say about the experience, what keeps them moving, and why every step matters. Explore the stories: https://bit.ly/3Sz8SRa

  • New leadership. New ways of learning. New approaches to building and modernizing technology. And, across the industry, AI is entering its next chapter. We’re moving beyond exploring what’s possible to making it work at scale. From AI moving into production and cloud-native platforms built for millions of transactions, to new ways of developing talent and thinking about responsibility in safety-critical engineering, here’s what September looked like across GlobalLogic.

  • What does long-distance swimming have to do with engineering? For Alla Danchenko, Technology Architect, the connection is clear: both require patience, preparation, adaptability, and the ability to keep moving forward. Her journey from Software Engineer to Technology Architect has taken her through new challenges, global teams, and a public safety project where reliability and security matter every day. We have joined the Tokenomics Foundation, launched by The Linux Foundation, to collaborate on defining standards, benchmarks, and practices for enterprise AI consumption. We’ll represent the Hitachi Group in this initiative. As organizations move AI from experimentation to production, understanding token consumption, cost, and business impact is increasingly important. We look forward to contributing our experience in operational technology, digital engineering, and AI-driven transformation to help shape this emerging discipline and support financially sustainable AI adoption. • Coming off an exciting week at Hitachi Inspire 2026, our CEO, Anand Birje, shares some of his biggest takeaways. Hitachi Inspire brought together nearly 200 clients, partners and leaders to explore the technologies and ideas shaping what’s next, from the evolution of AI to the growing intersection of physical and digital innovation. Read Anand’s reflections from the event and what these conversations mean for the opportunities ahead. #EngineeringImpact #HitachiInspire Hitachi Hitachi Digital Services

I attended an event last week in San Jose, CA, that truly delivered and inspired!! Guided by the theme, "Pioneering Possibilities," the Hitachi Inspire 2026 event hosted nearly 200 of our clients, partners, global executives, practitioners and industry friends for a day-and-a-half of insightful sessions, many centered on the promise of artificial intelligence. I had meaningful client and partner meetings, networked with my new colleagues at Hitachi, and renewed connections with many who I've had the pleasure of working with in the past.   Notable client and partner meetings included sit-downs with a great group from Microsoft, including Microsoft leaders Miki TsusakaTsusaka, Mandar Wavdé, and John Reed, as well as our strategic customers/ partners @Felek Abbas, SVP and Chief Technology and Security Officer of @Southwest Power Pool (SPP).   I also had the pleasure of joining NVIDIA's Yogesh Agrawal and Google Cloud's Kevin Ichhpurani for a panel moderated by our GlobalLogic / Hitachi Digital Services CMO LuJean Smith, where we had a lively discussion on the next generation of AI, frontier AI models, and AI hype versus reality.   Key takeaways from our session: · Physical and Digital AI Integration: Industry transformation is accelerating where physical systems intersect with digital engineering and cloud adoption--what I like to call "Phygital." · Shift from SDLC to ADLC: Development processes are rapidly evolving from traditional Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) to Agentic Development Lifecycles (ADLC) powered by AI tools and multi-agent systems. While this opens the door to new market opportunities, human involvement remains key for risk mitigation and prioritization.  · Delivering AI outcomes: All of us on the panel shared stories of our clients and partners delivering real, measurable outcomes through their AI investments. This truly is just the beginning. Realizing the full value of the AI stack requires bringing frontier technology together with domain expertise, security and execution. I can't wait to help our clients securely unlock the potential of AI in the months and years ahead.   #EngineeringImpact #HitachiInspire   Toshiaki Tokunaga Charlie Takeuchi Jun Abe Jun Taniguchi Arya Barirani Siba SatapathyPremkumar Balasubramanian Ethan MatyasN S Kumar LuJean Smith Jyoti B. • Detection tells you a part might fail. It doesn't tell you whether to fix it now or wait, and that gap is where most prescriptive maintenance programs stall after pilot. We're exploring this ahead of #InnoTrans2026, where we'll be joining the One Hitachi stand - Hall 4.2, Stand 430. Read more: https://bit.ly/3V5C9nS We look forward to connecting in Berlin.
