Intuitive Care Communication Products
About us
HatchMed is a Seattle based medical device company founded in 2012. Our mission is to provide solutions to patient and care team problems with our innovative and intuitive products and software to help advocate for better patient and care team experiences. Our flagship product, the BlackJack Magnetic Nurse-call Cable, is designed to increase reliable hospital bed connectivity to nurse call systems and reduce patient falls by eliminating bent pins and broken cables. The Talon Tablet Mount is built to make hospital-owned iPads or devices more accessible to patients and care team staff and is available in cart, bedrail, or wall-arm versions. HallMonitor is a digital corridor display that integrates with any EMR or our with our own ComCierge software. Display patient status, indicate isolation level, or fall risk with contextual illumination, or perform a secure 2-way video call all from outside the patient room in a fully customizable wall mounted unit that connects to any nurse call system. PillowCase is a durable, cleanable iPad enclosure designed for patient use. PillowCase connects directly to nurse-call, has a hardwired nurse-call button, and can be used as a secondary controller for easy access to content, entertainment, or requests to communicate with the care team. In 2021 we rolled out ComCierge, our iOS software application designed to simplify and streamline patient communication and engagement. ComCierge allows nurses to filter patient requests, reducing alarm fatigue and getting the patient what they need faster and with easier delegation. It integrates with EMR, ADT, & nurse-call systems and can be customized for your facilities needs. Our product line aims to innovate patient rooms, increase patient satisfaction, and support care team staff with intuitive, patient focused technology. We love seeing our partners at Primary Systems share how HallMonitor fits into the Epic ecosystem 👏 HallMonitor helps unlock the full potential of Epic EMR by turning real-time room status into insights clinical staff can actually use. When Epic visibility moves beyond the chart and into the patient room, teams move faster, workflows run smoother, and care gets safer. Always great partnering with Primary Systems to help health systems get more out of the tools they already rely on. #hallmonitor #digitaldoorsign #hospitalsmartroom
Is your EMR working as hard as your care teams do? HallMonitor helps unlock the full potential of Epic Monitor by bringing critical room-level data out of the chart and into the hallway—right where care teams are making decisions in real time. Traditional digital door signage often creates more challenges than clarity, from dim screens to disruptive installations. HallMonitor is purpose-built for healthcare environments, with bright, contextual illumination, a clean aesthetic, and a form factor that works seamlessly in both new construction and retrofit projects. The result is clearer communication, faster clinical decisions, and less friction for teams moving through the unit—every shift, every day. Interested in learning how HallMonitor can support your organization? We sat down with our CPO, Kyrylo Keydanskyy, to talk about how HallMonitor came to life 👇 From treating the hallway as part of the care environment 🏥 to designing digital door signage that works at a glance for busy care teams, every decision was made with real hospital workflows in mind. The result? A Red Dot Award–winning product that quietly does its job, giving teams real-time visibility and more time for patient care. 🩺✨ Read the full design story here: https://lnkd.in/gwdjrq-e
