IEEE Aerospace Conferences

There are so many things I love about the IEEE Aerospace Conferences, and our Junior Science and Engineering Conference is one of those things. Each year, we welcome students from 1st through 12th grade into our conference community, where they develop ideas, conduct research and experiments, and then stand up in front of an audience to present their work. Watching their curiosity, creativity, and confidence come to life never gets old. ❤️🚀 This short recap from our 2026 Junior Conference captures so much of the energy and excitement these young scientists and engineers bring to the conference. I’m incredibly proud that the IEEE Aerospace Conferences creates a place for them alongside scientists and engineers from across the aerospace community. Building the future of aerospace means inspiring and investing in the people who will build it next. Take a look at our future engineers and scientists in action! 👇 https://ieeetv.ieee.org/ns/ieeetvdl/2026/IEEE_Junior_Science_and_Engineering_Conference_RecapV6.mp4 Thank you Jill Gostin IEEE IEEE Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society Erin Bae Lea Provost! #IEEE #AESS #CEE #IEEEAeroConf #Aerospace #AerospaceEngineering #Engineering #Science #STEM #STEMEducation #STEMOutreach #STEMCareers #FutureEngineers #FutureScientists #NextGeneration #YouthInSTEM #EngineeringEducation #ScienceEducation #WorkforceDevelopment #Innovation #InspiringTheNextGeneration #WomenInSTEM #Space #SpaceExploration #SpaceEngineering

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 it’s time to start thinking about the 2027 Conference. The call for papers is out. Please encourage your program and thought leaders to consider and submit abstracts. This amazing conference will give your organization a platform to get your message to a wide audience, and influence decision makers as well as attract talent. Abstracts were due July 1, but late abstracts will still be considered. Also think about becoming a Patron or Exhibitor. You can find all relevant information on the website portal page.  In addition to the many marketing benefits, we offer Patrons an opportunity to submit panel proposals that address important aerospace initiatives and issues. But this does require your engagement now to develop a high quality panel description and identify organizer, moderator and panelists. http://www.aeroconf.org

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 Thank you to those of you who have already submitted an abstract. For those who haven’t, you still can. Please do so as soon as possible in order to be considered. Abstracts must be approved before papers can be submitted. To view or download the Call for Papers, go to http://www.aeroconf.org/ As a reminder to all, the absolute paper submission deadline is October 2; be sure to leave time for internal review which, for some, can take as long as a month. An abstract must be submitted for approval at least 2 weeks before a paper can be submitted.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 – 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗻 Be a thought leader in your field. Publish your paper and join aerospace professionals, engineers, scientists, and innovators from around the world in beautiful Big Sky, Montana, where ideas take flight at 7,500 feet! See call for papers at http://www.aeroconf.org. Abstracts due July 1.

Have you been looking for a good place to publish or a great conference to attend? This is it.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 This is an outstanding aerospace conference with extraordinary technical content. See the Call for Papers. It is available to view or download at http://www.aeroconf.org. Abstracts are due July 1.

The 2026 IEEE Aerospace Conference has officially come to a close, and what an incredible week it was. With hundreds of technical presentations and countless conversations in the hallways, meeting rooms, and networking events, thousands of meaningful connections were made across the aerospace community. A huge thank you to the organizing committee, track organizers, and session chairs whose hard work makes this conference possible. As Elizabeth Andrew once said, “Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” No one embodies that spirit more than the volunteers who give so much of their time and energy to make this conference what it is. Thank you as well to our patrons and exhibitors for their support, and to the authors and attendees who shared their research, ideas, and expertise throughout the week. Your participation and expertise continue to strengthen and advance our community. I'm already looking forward to next year! 🚀 🛰️ 📡 #IEEEAerospace #AerospaceConference #IEEE #AerospaceEngineering

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 As we wrap up another year, we wanted to give a shout out to this remarkable panel. To Regina Blue, NASA CLPS Contracting Office, for organizing, insightfully moderating and challenging each panelist about key mission aspects. And to panelist: John Ware - Astrobotic Trent Martin, MBA - Intuitive Machines Kevin R. Duda, Ph.D. - Draper Eduardo Seyffert - Blue Origin Joseph Marlin - Firefly Aerospace for your willingness to share and be transparent about being part of the CLPS vendor pool and your respective mission experiences. There are up to 4 launches scheduled this year and look forward to another great panel next year.  𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 at IEEE Aerospace Conferences

This was an excellent panel! Thanks much to the organizer and moderator, Blair Bigelow May and panelists, Mike Gold, Marshall Smith, Chris Nie and Max Haot. The Conference Team really appreciates you all making time to join us to discuss some of the pathways and challenges to creating a LEO commercial space economy.
