  • We would like to congratulate Kent Mills as he prepares for retirement. He has served as our Hopkins County Market President for more than 10 years. While Kent’s professional accomplishments are many, his greatest legacy is his commitment to serving others. He has dedicated countless hours to community organizations, youth programs, Scouting, the Madisonville Miners and the University of Kentucky. His service has earned him numerous honors over the years. We can’t thank him enough for his years of dedication, hard work and commitment to our customers and community. Kent’s contributions have made so many projects possible including the large undertaking of our annual Farm to Fork fundraising dinner. Kent enters retirement with a legacy of leadership, generosity and service that reaches far beyond the Bank. Congratulations, Kent, and thank you for a lifetime of making a difference in the lives of others. May this next chapter bring you happiness and time to enjoy all you have generously given to others.

  • Independence Bank is excited to announce a leadership succession plan in Warren County, welcoming Travis Keller back to our Bank as President-Elect. Keller returns after spending more than 11 years with us as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. He joined the Bank's community Board of Directors in late 2025 after serving as Chairman of the Board for both the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Authority. He will work alongside current President Brad Howard during the transition who has served in this role since 2009. Howard will transition to the role of Senior Market Advisor and Community Board Member in early 2027, at which time Keller will assume the role of Warren County Market President. The two will ensure that the Bank’s deep commitment to the Bowling Green community remains central to our mission. Please help us celebrate both Travis and Brad! For more details on the transition, read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/e3iJcKqT
