As America’s needs evolved, so did we. For 142 years, Kiewit has grown alongside the nation, taking on challenges, entering new markets and building what was needed next. That history includes supporting national defense efforts during World War II and delivering infrastructure through generations of change. As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, we’re proud to reflect on the role our people and projects have played throughout more than half of that history. More than just a football player. I want to thank Kiewit Building Group for giving me an incredible opportunity this past summer. It was a privilege to help work on the Memorial Stadium Renovation Project as a Field Engineer Intern. I also want to thank Alex Irving-Smith, Jamere Jones, Kurt Boyer, Jake Fuhs, Aaron Schrum, Mike Johnson, Jason Nguyen, Nolan Irwin and the rest of the Kiewit staff for giving me so much knowledge and welcoming me on to the team. I had the opportunity to work on some really cool tasks for future enabling/demo. GO BIG RED

September is Suicide Prevention Month. This month, Kiewit is keeping mental health front and center in our offices and on our jobsites across North America. Through our Under the Hat: Building Healthy Minds program and industry initiatives like Hard Hat Courage, Kiewit is working to raise awareness and provide resources that help our people and their families get the help they need. Kiewit is also joining fellow members of the Canadian Construction Safety Council to support “Looking Out For Each Other,” an industry-wide campaign focused on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. The campaign aims to reduce stigma and emphasize the importance of mental health across the construction industry. 📸 Pictured: Kiewit employees wearing teal and purple in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day.
Kiewit has been selected to help deliver Project 1 of the City of Houston’s East Water Purification Plant (EWPP) Enhancement project.
