A Major Milestone in Regenerative Agriculture for Almonds 🌱 At KIND, almonds are our hero ingredient. It’s why we set out on a mission to grow them in a way that’s better for the planet and for business. We launched the KIND Almond Acres Initiative in 2023, a three-year pilot with one of our top almond suppliers, ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients), to test regenerative agricultural practices and new technologies across 1,000 acres and two different regions in California. We’re now proud to share that we’ve leveraged the learnings and results from this pilot to secure 50% of our almond volume from farms leveraging regenerative agriculture practices on a mass balance basis in 2026. This major milestone lands us ahead of schedule as we strive to reach our goal to source 100% of our almonds from farms leveraging regenerative agriculture practices on a mass balance basis by 2030. Today is World Environment Day—a reminder that meaningful progress rarely happens overnight. It comes through curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to keep challenging what’s possible. Earlier today, I spent time with the KIND team in New York, with views of Times Square as the backdrop 🗽, and learned more about their recent recognition from DIELINE🏆—the paper wrapper pilot earned 1st place in the Sustainable Food Packaging category, an incredible achievement. What I love most is what this represents: collaboration. Innovation like this doesn’t happen because of one team or function—it happens when people across R&D, packaging, sustainability, commercial and more come together to challenge assumptions, solve problems and create new possibilities. The result is more than an award-winning package—it’s an example of how sustainability, consumer experience and business value can work hand in hand, and how progress happens when talented people rally around a shared goal. Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this to life and thank you for welcoming me to the KIND office. It was inspiring to spend time with the team and hear more about the collaboration, creativity and determination behind the achievement. Momentum like this is what drives real progress. I’m not a runner (more of a cyclist), but I sure was inspired to go for a run after seeing thousands of runners coming through Chicago this weekend! We know our KIND snackers are avid health and wellness enthusiasts – so what better place to show up than on race day? KIND brought the energy and protein to fuel runners and fans alike at the Life Time Inc. Chicago Spring Half Marathon – reminding everyone to Choose KIND with a Protein MAX granola froyo truck and hype station. It was incredible seeing everyone try our delicious new KIND Protein MAX Granola – our activation had the longest lines and excitement all day. My son, Theo, came along and had a blast seeing the fun stuff come to life. Big thanks to our marketing team, Anthony DeRojas, Jill DeLelle, Brett O., Victoria Kwan, Teddy Stratis III, for having KIND show up in the KINDest way possible!

That’s why every spring, our wellness committee hosts a variety of events for our Team Members to prioritize their #wellbeing, physically and mentally!
