Big hearts. Bigger impact. ❤️ Every year, The Big Give Back gives our colleagues a chance to bring Mission Every One to life through service, generosity and care for one another. This August, colleagues across Macy's, Inc. came together to volunteer, fundraise and support one another – turning our values into action. The result? More than 9,000 volunteer hours and nearly $1.9 million raised and directed to nonprofits across the country, including nearly $750,000 for The North Star Relief Fund, Macy's own 501(c)(3) dedicated to helping fellow colleagues through times of hardship. Together, those acts of service and generosity helped strengthen communities, support colleagues in need and spark connection in the places we call home. #MacysMissionEveryOne #TheBigGiveBack #MacysInc #CommunityImpa

Ten years ago, Remy Tait joined Bloomingdale’s as a Senior Assistant Planner in Fashion Jewelry. It was her first corporate retail role, and she quickly learned she’d be trusted with some big decisions. Ten years later, she’s worked across buying, planning and strategy, continuing to learn and grow with every chapter. Today, as Director of Planning, Home, Remy says the best part of the job is still the people. She loves being part of teams that challenge each other, grow together and create experiences customers want to discover. Congratulations on 10 years, Remy!

Everyone tells leaders to “hit the ground running.” Tony Spring thinks that’s terrible advice. When he took over as CEO of Macy's Inc., he didn’t rush in with a big reinvention strategy. He started by listening to customers, colleagues, data, and the culture around him. Because sometimes the best way to lead change is to slow down long enough to understand what actually needs to change. In today's episode, Tony shares what he’s learned about listening, leading through a turnaround, running better meetings, and knowing when to keep pushing an idea, or let it go.
