Thank you to everyone who joined the live Earnings Options AMA with Moomoo US CEO Neil McDonald and Kevin Davitt, Nasdaq's Head of Index Options Content. We covered IV pricing into earnings, single-stock vs index options strategies, and how the market prices expectations going into a print. Solid discussion throughout. Here's a look back at some of the highlights. More events ahead. #moomoo #Nasdaq #EarningsSeason #Options #IndexOptions Options trading is risky and not appropriate for everyone. Read the Options Disclosure Document (https://lnkd.in/dwtdwUSz) before trading. Options are complex and you may quickly lose the entire investment. Supporting docs for any claims will be furnished upon request. Exchange traded Index options are similar to exchange traded equity options in that all options involve risk and are not suitable for all investors. For a better understanding of the differences between index options and equity option please visit the resources available through the OCC’s Options Industry Council here: Equity versus Index Options (https://lnkd.in/e7mPxzac) Index options have special characteristics and risks. Index option exercises are settled with cash, not securities. In addition, because the exercise price of an index option is generally based on the closing index value, an index option that is in the money during trading hours may be out of the money when the closing value is calculated — a risk to consider whenever you place an exercise order before the closing value is known. Zero Days to Expiration (0DTE) or Same Day expiration options: Keep in mind, opening new options positions close to or on their expiration date comes with substantial risk of losses for reasons that include potential volatility of the underlying security, limited time to expiration, flagging as a pattern day trader, and others. This type of strategy is not suitable for all investors and should be utilized only by sophisticated investors who understand the essentials of options and the risks of 0DTE options.

Markets are global. Trading windows aren't. Earnings updates, policy announcements, and supply chain news from international markets often land while U.S. markets are closed. For investors tracking global companies or cross-listed securities, the gap between when information is available and when the regular session opens can be meaningful. Moomoo's 5×24 trading addresses that gap. Extended-hours coverage spans overnight, pre-market, regular, and after-hours sessions across five trading days, giving investors more flexibility to respond to global events as they happen rather than waiting for 9:30 AM ET. ADRs are one practical example. Companies with primary listings on overseas exchanges, such as SK hynix on the Korean Stock Exchange, generate news and price activity during Asian hours. 5×24 access means investors can act on that information without waiting for the U.S. session to open. As cross-border investing grows, session flexibility is becoming a more relevant part of the toolkit for investors with global exposure. How do you currently manage positions around cross-timezone market events? Explore the feature on moomoo now: https://lnkd.in/gj3uWSaU This presentation is for informational and educational use only and is not a recommendation or endorsement of any particular investment or investment strategy. Investment information provided in this content is general in nature, strictly for illustrative purposes, and may not be appropriate for all investors.  Trading during Extended Hours Trading Sessions carries unique risks, such as greater price volatility, lower liquidity, wider bid/ask spreads, and less market visibility, and may not be appropriate for all investors. Moomoo Financial Inc. cannot guarantee that Extended Hours orders will be executed at the best price for any given security or that any such orders, including market orders, will be executed. See our [Extended Hours Trading Risk Disclosure] for details.  ADRs involve additional risks, including currency exchange risk, differences in accounting and regulatory standards, and political or economic risks associated with the foreign country. ADR prices may not always track the underlying foreign shares. Securities offered through Moomoo Financial Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC.
