Uncover and remediate hidden risk by analyzing software that actually executes on the devices that run your enterprise.

About us

When you buy a new device, how many vulnerabilities do you expect to find? Most people would say zero. Unfortunately, that’s far from the truth. The reality is that most devices ship with hidden risks that leave you — and your business — exposed. NetRise gives you the visibility and transparency needed to make informed decisions about the software you purchase or produce, reducing risk across your organization. We do this by delivering an accurate, evidence-based Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) derived from the code that actually executes. Our mission is simple: Eliminate blind trust in software forever.

NetRise Provenance now enforces package trust inside the developer workflow, blocking malicious and policy-violating open-source packages before they enter your projects. That means the command line, the editor, and AI coding assistants like Claude Code. As our co-founder and CEO, Thomas Pace, puts it: "Software should prove its origin, integrity, and lineage before it ever runs." 𝗔𝘁 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗖𝗼𝗻, 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲'𝘀 Gary Schwartz 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟵,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟯𝟴𝟬+ 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: two-thirds of components never appear in a manifest, and 99% of vulnerabilities stay hidden there. His conclusion: supply chain risk is an inventory problem before it's a prioritization problem. Watch how to find what you can't see.
