What does building a greener New York City look like in practice? During Climate Week NYC, EDCers participated in 30+ events with leaders across public and private sectors to explore how innovation, infrastructure and economic opportunity can realize a more just transition to a clean energy future. Topics covered regenerative materials, clean energy deployment, green jobs, scaling climate tech, resiliency, and zero emission of freight. Conversations throughout the week highlighted the many ways New York is working toward a more sustainable and resilient future. Different green economy sectors. Different solutions. One shared goal: turning climate ambition into action for New York City while expanding meaningful economic opportunities for New Yorkers #ClimateWeekNYC

Mayor Zohran Mamdani is taking a comprehensive approach to making New York City more affordable by focusing on the major costs families are challenged with every day: housing, food, childcare, and transportation. It's one of the reasons I'm so happy to be back in City government as part of this administration and the great team at New York City Economic Development Corporation, delivering a more affordable and inclusive city for all New Yorkers. https://lnkd.in/gAVkmEPv
