This role sits at the intersection of: → Complex fintech implementations (banks, credit unions, digital launches) → Executive-level program leadership → And building the AI-powered delivery system of the future At Nymbus, we’re not trying to incrementally improve delivery. I do not have any evidence of this scientifically nor anecdotally even - but my guess is that there is a gridlock of technical staff who are desperate to work on cutting edge AI tools but feel trapped because their leadership doesn’t get it - and avoids investing in it. I have a tough time believing that fintech devs at the monoliths will ever be allowed to touch the new tools in the next five years. "Digital transformation" has been banking's favorite buzzword for 20 years. We meant it. The need was real. But if we're honest, most institutions spent two decades buying software that made old processes slightly faster and calling it transformation. The tech debt remained. The same vendors. The same disappointments. Almost zero innovation that actually moved the needle for community banks. That's over now. AI has unlocked tools that make true transformation possible. Not the AI in your vendor's deck that ships with a chatbot. I'm talking about tools that let a small team of non-engineers build enterprise-grade apps in days that would have taken a dev shop 18 months and $2M just two years ago. Workflow automation without a systems integrator. Applications built through conversation, not code. Compliance reviews that used to require outside counsel, handled in minutes. Three weeks ago I opened Kiro for the first time. In a few hours I had published an enterprise-grade app with automated testing, deployment, and self-healing code. I was a developer in 2006. What I built in under 3 hours would have been impossible then, and would have taken 4-5 months if it weren't. That's not hype. That's what agentic coding actually does. Most bank and credit union leaders have no idea this exists. At best, they have a ChatGPT license for drafting board reports. Meanwhile their more aggressive peers are quietly rebuilding operational capacity in ways that will be very hard to compete with in 36 months. The institutions that figure this out in 2026 won't look like they transformed. They'll just look like they can do things nobody else can do. The gap is widening fast. If your AI strategy is still chatting with an agent or rewriting board decks, you're already behind.

This role reports to me directly as part of our Banking & Risk team, but has direct access across our full executive leadership team and engages with our Board.
