Farmer by day. Chef by choice. 👨🌾👨🍳💚 When he's not caring for his cows, farmer-owner John loves stepping into the kitchen. Recently, he combined both passions, preparing a four-course meal for young farmers attending our Generation Organic program and other guests. Great food, great conversation, and a shared commitment to the future of organic farming. A big thank you to John and our café team for making it all happen!

What a week at Climate Week NYC! This week, Organic Valley CEO Shawna Nelson joined Food Tank and farmer-owner Jake Wedeberg to discuss how farmers are helping build a more resilient food system. The takeaway? Progress doesn't happen through conversation alone. It happens when people roll up their sleeves, invest in solutions, and work together to strengthen farms, communities, and our food system for generations to come. That's exactly what Organic Valley farmers are doing every day. Watch their fireside chat here: https://lnkd.in/gns7viHA #ClimateWeekNYC

🌱 Building trust in food starts on the farm. We're excited to see Organic Plus Trust featured on All Access with Host Andy Garcia, a short-form educational program exploring the future of agriculture, organic grass-fed dairy, and food production. The segment highlights some of the biggest challenges facing family farms today, from increasing demand for transparency in food production and labeling to the need for farming practices that support soil health, biodiversity, and animal welfare. As a farmer-founded cooperative, these issues matter deeply to us. That's why we're proud to support efforts like Organic Plus Trust, which works with producers and brands to establish clear, evidence-based standards that help consumers make informed choices while creating a stronger future for family farms. 📺 The segment about organic grass-fed dairy went live on PBS yesterday, but you can watch it now using the link below 👇 https://lnkd.in/gY2iM-qr

"Come bosssss..." "Here girls!" "C'mon, c'mon!" To most of us, it's nonsense. To a cow? It's basically a text message from a trusted friend. Every Organic Valley farmer has their own signature cow call. Some whistle, some sing, and some yell sounds that only their herd could possibly understand. The funny thing? The cows always seem to get the message. Read more about the art of calling cows home: ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gw2dBKAH

Big congratulations to Organic Valley farmer-owners George and Dora McClelland of McClelland Dairy Farm on being named the Organic Trade Association's 2026 Organic Farmers of the Year. Their commitment to organic farming, land stewardship, healthy soils, animal care, and future generations embodies what organic is all about. For more than two decades, the McClellands have shown what's possible when farmers work in harmony with nature, helping strengthen both their community and the organic movement. We're proud to call them part of Organic Valley. 💚 #OrganicWeek2026 #FarmerOwned
