  • What changes when animal care and sustainability are part of the same conversation? This week, we brought together more than 100 farmers, customers, animal welfare advocates, scientists, sustainability leaders and other partners for our 11th annual Animal Care and Sustainability Summit — and, for the first time, put these two important topics on the same agenda. Across two days, we explored where animal welfare and environmental stewardship align, where tradeoffs remain and how practical solutions can work for animals, farmers and the environment. Participants experienced this work firsthand on a local farm and joined candid conversations about regenerative agriculture, technology and data, antimicrobial resistance and One Health, our No Antibiotics Ever journey, and the future of responsible animal agriculture. We also released our 2026 Animal Care Report, sharing our progress, what we’ve learned and the work ahead. Since 2016, our Commitments to Animal Care program has driven hundreds of initiatives focused on animal well-being, farmer relationships, transparency and continuous improvement. Thank you to everyone who brought their experience and perspective to the table. These conversations make us better and help us keep raising a better future together. • Throughout NYC Climate Week this week, our team had the opportunity to connect with partners, customers, and industry leaders who share a common interest in building a more resilient food system. A highlight of the week was joining Puro.earth, MillPont, and Arva Intelligence as we celebrated the launch of Puro's new Environmental Attributes Registry and introduced an Environmental Board of Trade (EBOT), an industry-led initiative focused on bringing greater consistency, transparency and trust to environmental markets. As an initial adopter of the registry and a founding member of the EBOT, we're excited to help build infrastructure that better connects farmers, buyers and environmental outcomes. As the team moved all around the city, meeting with partners, attending sessions, and making new connections, one message came through clearly in discussions: solving agriculture's biggest challenges will require collaboration across the food system. Thank you to everyone who took part in these important conversations. We're looking forward to continuing the work ahead. #ClimateWeekNYC

For many National FFA Organization members, a blue jacket is more than something they wear. It’s a symbol of hard work, leadership, and belonging.   Perdue Farms is proud to renew its support of the National FFA Organization’s Give the Gift of Blue program with a $20,000 grant through the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation. Since we began supporting the program, Perdue funding has helped provide 1,059 blue jackets for students. Each jacket helps a student feel part of a community where they can build leadership skills, explore careers, and learn about agriculture. By investing in today’s students, we’re helping grow tomorrow’s agricultural leaders. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e7wriXCQ

  • On the heels of #NationalTruckDriverAppreciationWeek, we’re continuing to recognize the drivers behind the wheel who help keep Perdue moving forward.    For Cory Burch, that means making safety part of every decision. For Melissa Cummings, it's the patience and professionalism the job requires. And for Kirk Harmon, it's the pride that comes from more than two decades on the road and achieving 2 million safe miles.    Recently, drivers Ronald Nock and Gary Hatcher shared what a typical day is like, and what they most enjoy about being on the road, with WMDT for The Brightside series. Watch their full interview here:  https://lnkd.in/ejG_HzZf    Behind every mile, more than 600 drivers are working diligently to help connect our farms, feed mills, hatcheries, facilities, and customers while representing Perdue in communities across the country. Their professionalism, dedication and commitment to safety are worth celebrating year-round.

  • Football is back—and so are wings, watch parties and gameday traditions! 🍗🏈🔥 Ahead of the start of the season, we were honored to serve as the official chicken wing of the 25th annual National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York—and to claim a spot in the festival's "Hall of Flame.” This wasn’t our first trip to Buffalo this year. In January, we put PERDUE® Air Fryer Ready™ Crispy Wings to the ultimate test through our Next Best Wing campaign, inviting some of the country's most passionate wing fans to give them a try. We’re grateful for the warm welcome Buffalonians have given us ever since. While the Hall of Flame induction carries the Perdue family name, it represents the contributions of thousands of associates, teams and family farm partners whose passion and dedication help deliver quality products that bring people together year-round. For more than a century, innovating and finding new ways to better serve consumers have been part of our story—and we're excited for more great wing moments to come this season.

  • There’s tremendous momentum around environmental stewardship in agriculture and a growing opportunity to recognize the progress happening on farms. But realizing that opportunity requires greater consistency in how environmental outcomes are measured, verified, and understood. That's why Perdue Farms is helping establish an environmental board of trade (EBOT), an industry-led effort focused on creating greater consistency around governance, verification standards, and market infrastructure for agricultural environmental attributes. We’re also serving as one of the first adopters of Puro.earth's Environmental Attributes Registry. Together, these efforts are intended to help bring greater transparency, consistency, and credibility to environmental attribute markets. We believe farmers, food companies, and consumers all benefit when environmental stewardship is supported by trusted infrastructure and clear standards. And this is just the beginning. As the EBOT initiative continues to take shape, we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other producers, buyers, and technical partners who share an interest in building stronger, more credible environmental markets. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eu8f9sz4 Or on the EBOT website: https://www.ebot.earth/

  • As a food company, we believe we have a unique responsibility and opportunity to help address hunger in the communities we call home. This Hunger Action Month, we're putting that belief into action in ways that address immediate needs while supporting the long-term work of our community partners. We're donating seven truckloads of protein — the equivalent of 181,000 meals — to seven food bank partners across six states. The Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation is also investing nearly $80,000 in nonprofit programs addressing food insecurity, and our associates are joining the effort through a companywide food drive with a goal of collecting 50,000 pounds of food for local food banks and pantries. These efforts build on work happening throughout the year. Our 15th annual Strike Out Hunger Challenge recently generated a record 1.5 million meal equivalents for neighbors across Delmarva, and this fall, our new Rushing to Fight Hunger partnership with the Baltimore Ravens and Maryland Food Bank will help generate additional meals for Maryland families facing hunger. Hunger Action Month puts an important spotlight on food insecurity. For us, supporting our neighbors is a year-round commitment rooted in our core value of Stewardship — and made possible by the food banks, nonprofit organizations, community partners and associates who work every day to make a difference. We're grateful to be part of that work. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eN5ZKMJn

  • Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor those who responded with extraordinary courage, and hold close the families and loved ones whose lives were forever changed. Twenty-five years later, we remember. We will never forget.

  • Some of the best sustainability ideas don't start in a boardroom. They start with associates who see an opportunity to do something better.    That's what makes us especially proud to see our Lewiston, North Carolina, processing facility recognized as Food Processing's 2026 Green Plant of the Year.    Over the past several years, the team has driven improvements that conserve water and reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. From renewable natural gas production to LED upgrades and a water reuse project expected to save nearly 25 million gallons annually, each effort represents a commitment to continuous improvement and responsible stewardship.    Congratulations to the Lewiston team. This recognition shows what can happen when talented people are empowered to identify opportunities, solve problems, and turn good ideas into meaningful, sustainable progress.    Read more about the team’s efforts here: https://lnkd.in/eqsz6MPj
