"What do you actually do with a 300-page PDF report?" That’s the problem most security teams face after an engagement: critical findings get buried, workflow stalls, and tracking remediation becomes a manual nightmare. Daniel DeCloss sat down with Keith Shaw to show how PlexTrac transforms static security assessment data into an automated, actionable workflow. Key takeaways from the feature: - Move from annual check-the-box audits to continuous validation. - Contextualize severity scores based on your specific environment. - Trigger real-time alerts and remediation tasks the instant critical findings land. See how PlexTrac + Brinqa are bringing exposure management, pen testing, and remediation under one roof. 🔗 Catch the full walkthrough: https://lnkd.in/gkMAMNTK #offensivesecurity #SecurityOperations #pentesting #PlexTrac

  • ⚠️ Fewer spreadsheets. Better reporting. Faster remediation. Security analysts and penetration testers didn’t get into cybersecurity to spend 40% of their work week formatting Word documents and wrangling CSV files. If you’re attending SecTor Toronto, come see how PlexTrac is changing the game for offensive security teams and MSSPs. 📍 Find us at Booth #1030 to learn how to: - Eliminate manual reporting friction and generate executive-ready reports in minutes. - Normalize and aggregate risk data across all your scanner and testing inputs. - Demonstrate real risk reduction to stakeholders with continuous threat exposure metrics. Stop by Booth 1030 for a live workflow demo, to grab some fresh PlexTrac swag, or to meet our team! 👇 What’s your team’s single biggest headache when it comes to vulnerability management and pentest reporting? • A 9.8 CVSS score on an unreachable asset isn't a fire drill—it's noise. As John HammondJohn Hammond put it, chasing severity scores without environmental context is a fast track to team burnout. Theoretical risk causes fatigue; validated risk drives action. #Cybersecurity #VulnerabilityManagement

Too many vulnerabilities are falling out of the sky these days and I'm still tryna keep up... but honestly, digging into things, the most important question I gotta ask is: "does this vuln actually even matter?" 😩 A 'CRITICAL' finding might not be worth the frenzy if the attack surface isn't reachable -- while a 'Medium' might open the door for a chain that gets full compromise. There's so much nuance that my friends over at PlexTrac wrote all about it, breaking down _theoretical risk_ versus _validated risk._ Take a gander, especially if your teams are chasing every ambulance and getting alert fatigue and burnout. CVSS scores don't have the context of your own environment, so please get a quick read in here and take whatever new 9.8 or 10.0 pops up with an extra grain of salt: https://lnkd.in/efQQNE4i (oh and PS, HUGE congrats to our partner PlexTrac on their recent acquisition by Brinqa!! 🤩🥳🎊)
