PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS LEAGUE NAMES GORILLA ENERGY AS EXCLUSIVE ENERGY DRINK PARTNER IN MAJOR MULTI-YEAR COLLABORATION
NEW YORK — June 25, 2026 — The Professional Fighters League (PFL) today announced a new major partnership with Gorilla Energy, who has been named as the official Energy Drink Partner of PFL in a multi-year deal across North America, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA).
Gorilla Energy was created for the next generation of bold, lifestyle-driven consumers, fueling athletes, creators, and ambitious individuals who are shaping culture and striving to rise from humble beginnings. With 5 billion cans sold since launching in 2010 and a presence in over 30 countries, Gorilla Energy is rapidly expanding across the U.S. Its partnership with the Professional Fighters League marks an important step in that growth.
In a new collaboration, Gorilla Energy will be featured across all physical touchpoints during PFL live events in the U.S. and MENA regions, with product samples being made available to fans throughout fight weeks. They will also offer VIP packages and experiences during PFL live events, with behind-the-scenes access and money-can't-buy opportunities for their customers creating truly unforgettable moments for fight fans.
And from 2027, Gorilla Energy will be launching and distributing 100m PFL co-branded cans with an exclusive national retailer in the U.S., with that number set to grow to 150m in 2028, and 200m in 2029.
In addition, the energy drink brand will become the Presenting Partner of Official Weigh-Ins and Presenting Partner of PFL Between Rounds, the exclusive PFL shoulder program hosted by MMA legend and commentator Dan Hardy as he delves into the mindsets of PFL athletes before they step into the cage.
“Gorilla Energy has joined PFL at one of the most exciting times in the company’s history as we enter a stretch of three title fights in three consecutive weeks in July, and before then we have this Saturday’s blockbuster in San Diego. We’re excited for Gorilla Energy to be part of this journey, experience the boom, and create a truly special partnership together,” said PFL CEO John Martin.
“This partnership is about more than just visibility for us. It’s about aligning with a league that is redefining the future of combat sports, and that makes it a natural fit for Gorilla Energy. Together, we have an opportunity to create authentic connections with athletes and fans through a shared passion for performance, ambition, and pushing boundaries,” said Gorilla Energy Co-Founder Misha Lifschitz.
