Lights, camera… Chicken Fingers! Raising Cane’s took center stage in Hollywood with another blockbuster milestone — celebrating the opening of our 1,000th restaurant on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame at Hollywood & Highland. Raising Cane’s owner and founder Todd Graves welcomed members of the press for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, offering a first look at a restaurant designed to shine as bright as the Hollywood lights themselves. The milestone opening marks a full-circle moment for Todd, who came to Los Angeles more than 30 years ago while raising money to make his dream of opening a Chicken Finger restaurant a reality. After receiving the worst grade in his class for a Chicken Finger-only concept, Todd was told the restaurant industry needed more variety. Undeterred, he pitched banks in a borrowed suit — only to be turned down by all of them. He then moved to Los Angeles, working 90- to 105-hour weeks as a boilermaker to help fund his dream, where he earned the nickname “Hollywood” — now a full-circle moment in his journey. The Hollywood & Highland restaurant pays homage to Michael Rotondi, the architect of the iconic building, Todd maintained the original façade and other architectural features. The restaurant design complements Rotondi’s vision of a “glass box” commercial space and creates a public square for crowds to gather along Hollywood Boulevard. The 1,000th Restaurant located at Hollywood & Highland is just one of several unique Restaurants in the LA area and across the state. In May, we will open our SoFi Flagship Restaurant in Inglewood and a high-profile Restaurant in Santa Monica on 3rd Street Promenade as well as a Restaurant located at Sunset & Tamarind. These Restaurants are in addition to two high-profile Restaurants located at Universal CityWalk and Hollywood & Sunset. From that single location to now 1,000 Restaurants and counting, we’re on track to open nearly 100 Restaurants in 2026 alone, building on a strong 2025 that saw 100 new openings – thank you to our great Crew! 2026 also marks a major milestone beyond the Restaurant count, with our 30th birthday celebration beginning on August 28.
