The Seattle Division was pleased to continue their support of pediatric cancer immunotherapy research at Seattle Children's by donating $2.1 million, which was funded by a collaboration between the division and its vendors, store teams, customers and a golf tournament in partnership with the Seattle Seahawks. They are humbled to know their 10 years of fundraising has played a role in the availability of CAR-T cell therapy, a tremendous cancer treatment advancement that has saved the lives of hundreds of children. #bettertogether
We are overflowing with gratitude for our incredible partners at Safeway and Albertsons Companies. Over the last decade, their #ImmunoHeroes campaign—driven by the generosity of customers, associates, and vendor partners—has raised more than $15 million for pediatric cancer immunotherapy research at Seattle Children’s. On March 5, Safeway’s Seattle Division leaders and vendors presented their 2025 Immuno Heroes proceeds check for $2.1 million.
