SailPoint's fiscal Q2 2027 revenue landed light, but CEO Mark McClain told me the culprit was mainly accounting, not demand: a 97% SaaS mix – above the guided 90–95% – pushes revenue recognition lower, since a $5M term-to-SaaS shift can cut reported revenue by roughly $10M. Annual recurring revenue beat the guide by about $11 million, a beat carried through the full year, and revenue guidance held.
