"Fast compliance" has gotten a bad name lately. And after the Delve scandal, that's fair. But here's what actually got a bad name: shortcuts. Cutting corners. Selling a certificate without building the security behind it. Speed was never the problem. The problem was what some companies were willing to sacrifice for it. Let's be precise about what Scytale actually does: we make compliance faster. Not fast. Faster. Faster because we automate the manual tasks that can eat up weeks: evidence collection, control mapping, documentation - the time-consuming parts, but not the parts that require expertise. Every major leap in tech has been about automating the manual grind so that skilled people can focus on higher-order problems. That's what cloud infrastructure did for DevOps. That's what automation did for QA. It didn't make the work less rigorous - it made the people doing it more effective. Compliance is no different. The automation handles what automation does best. Our GRC experts handle the rest - guiding you through the process, catching what a tool can't catch, and making sure you remain compliant long after the audit is done. Because the audit is a moment in time. Your compliance program has to outlast it. Faster doesn't mean less thorough. It means your experts are spending time where it actually counts.

Compliance is supposed to build trust. What Delve did was the opposite. If you were one of the companies caught in the fallout, you're not alone. And you have nothing to be embarrassed about. You were sold the appearance of security, not the real thing. That's on them. If you need to get back on solid ground, our team is ready to help. Book a free consultation at hi@scytale.ai.

Building trust through compliance. Not destroying it. The past two days I've been getting messages from friends caught up in the Delve scandal. They're not just angry. They're worried. Worried they unknowingly lied to their own customers about being compliant. Worried about how to get their credibility back. Worried they don't know where to start. That's what makes this a disgrace. Delve's entire purpose was to help companies build trust - instead they systematically destroyed it. 493 out of 494 SOC 2 reports. Identical. Auditor conclusions written before a single piece of evidence was reviewed. "US-based CPA firms" that didn't exist. They were sold a badge. Not compliance. If you're one of them, here's what I'd do right now: 1. Run a true gap analysis. Understand where you actually stand today versus where your SOC 2 said you were. You need the real picture before anything else. 2. Check your contract for a breach clause. You may have grounds to recover your money. Read the agreement carefully and get legal eyes on it if needed. 3. Talk to someone who can help - no strings attached. My team at Scytale is offering a free consulting session with one of our GRC experts for any company affected. No pitch. Just clarity on where you stand and what your options are. Schedule a time with us at hi@scytale.ai At Scytale, we've always believed compliance either builds trust or it's worthless. There is no middle ground. Every audit partner we work with goes through rigorous due diligence before they touch a single customer engagement - BIG4 or not. Real auditors. Real process. Real trust.
