We recently hosted another Real Talk for our employees in partnership with our nonprofit partner, SeekHer Foundation at WellSeek, and it was one to remember. Titled "Stronger Together: Centering Purpose, Leadership & Human Connection," this interactive, panel-style workshop explored care, clarity, and purpose as the foundation of how we show up, and how those practices strengthen us as leaders, teammates, and community members. Dr. Monica Mo, PhD, the CEO of Well Seek/Director of SeekHer Foundation, moderated a discussion on how community care in mental health becomes a real-time leadership strength, and what it means to lead in a grounded, human-centered way amid evolving expectations and rapid change. Panelists Albrina Mendes (Lead of Council Initiatives & Impact for the SeekHer Foundation) and Guyton Mathews IV, MA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Manager for [solidcore]) shared their insights and experiences, helping employees connect, react, and translate ideas into practice. Everyone left with actionable skills to build their capacity as leaders who create communities of care. Yesterday, [solidcore] had the opportunity to attend and support the L.O.V.E. Fiesta, an event hosted by one of our nonprofit partners, Latinas On the Verge of Excellence - L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program. L.O.V.E.'s mission is to empower young women to identify their innate strength to fulfill their personal and professional goals through mentorship and health education spanning mental, reproductive, and physical health, as well as college and career readiness. Throughout the night, attendees mingled with mentees and mentors in an unforgettable evening full of heart and hope. We are so grateful to Head Coach & Community Managers Letticia Camacho and Juan Zapata, Senior Coach Juan Villafrade Arboleda and Pro Coach Lesley Fernández, for representing our brand. They are all employees who truly live out one of our core values, [community]. This is just the beginning of our partnership with the L.O.V.E. This weekend, we announced the launch of [solidcore] ascend — a high-intensity, heated, floor-based strength training workout with a custom weight and resistance station. While the workout may look different, [solidcore] ascend is consistent with the [solidcore] promise — same coaching standard, personalized, high intensity, and leaves you feeling stronger for it. We heard from the clients the desire for variety and to grow strength in different forms — physically and mentally. This led our team to launch the [solidcore] Innovation Lab at our Navy Yard studio in Washington, D.C., with hundreds of hours of class testing and valuable client feedback. The final product is one that's true to our brand and introduces a new way to get stronger. Meet Coach Micah Finley from River North, Chicago 💙 Micah's [solidcore] story didn't start with a fitness goal, it started with a tough season of life. One class in, he was hooked - not just on the workout, but on how present it made him feel. What began as a client journey became something bigger once Micah realized his coaches were just as much a part of the healing process as the workout itself.
